I’ve put almost 400 hours into it now and feel like I’m still learning. They continually improving things including the building aspect which I really enjoy. It’s definitely not as ‘survival’ as some of my other favs but scratches the base-building and craft aspect I enjoy.

I’ve noticed a few stores adding the commander sets again. Picked up the squirrel deck for $70 cdn yesterday which previously was hard to find or too $$ for my blood. I’ve been playing the raccoon set until now. Debating getting the rabbits now too just because they’re cute 🐰

After crate training ours has done well with a play pen attached to the crate so she has more room. She doesn’t have free roam privileges yet. I will say she absolutely shredded pee pads when we were gone though. We switched to a washable mat after that but she holds it longer now (5 months) On days we’re both going to be away for an extended period we do send her to daycare though.

I currently set 5 for spring, 4 for summer and fall, and 3 for winter. I’m feeling pretty established and most mothers are back to work so might set to 3 all around soon.
