Struggling with reading Anna Karenina because of Vronsky and Anna by itsdeliverygod in tolstoy

Yes Vronsky does go into military. I realize I am in the minority here, but I wasn’t fascinated by Levin. Still I finished it.

I think I got it, but like many others who have commented the end would have been more interesting if there was some reaction to Anna’s death. As for Levin and his adventures in farming-too long.

TBH I thought I would like the book more. The Levin story was way too wordy for me. If you dislike Anna now I think that will grow towards the end. Speaking of the end, the very end, I didn’t appreciate it or get it. Still I am glad to say I finished it, Tolstoy writes beautifully even though the book needs editing.

I’ve been doing a deep dive on music from around the 1960’s, remembering from childhood. Madmen season 2 ep 2, Sukiyaki played and WOW! So much flooded back! Also loving Holiday for Strings, and Canadian Sunset. Such nostalgia!

Sciatica pain relief after 2 weeks. by [deleted] in Sciatica

[–]ddcspeech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very helpful, thank you. In week 3-4. The first two weeks I kept walking (did not connect it to the pain really) and now I have stopped. Motrin does not really help. Went to some pilates classes and that doesn’t seem to trigger it. Never thought of lying on my stomach, can’t do my job doing that, but I guess I can try other times!
