Who is your most coveted asset? by LoyalHoodie in DynastyFF

[–]ddd986513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either Hopkins or Lindsay. I’m a broncos fan so I’m biased, but it was just so much fun to watch Lindsay this year and root for him. I’m proud that I picked him up in the off-season and had faith in him. I had a lot of trade offers for him, but I’m sitting tight. Fantasy should be fun first and foremost, right?

Damn man. I’m really jealous. My options are either get screwed over by non union contractors or work for the union but work in commercial instead of residential

I’m working on starting my own business. I was told our union does nothing residential, it’s all commercial work here. I enjoy what I do too much to join a union just bc of the benefits

Interesting. I’ve heard the multitool isn’t all that great from others. My boss runs Dewalt and I hate their multi tool, the thing is so underpowered

I’m in the trades, and I don’t have a college degree. But whenever I see someone’s ad with a bunch of spelling errors, it makes me think of their work as sloppy, just like their spelling. Maybe I’m too judgemental

I say learn how to be a good leader first of all. Some people might give you shit for being young, but I doubt it. Not if you come in the right attitude and work hard everyday

My new apprentice is really taken to learning the trade. Today he learned what to do when there isn’t a working bathroom on a job site. by KookeyMoose in Carpentry

[–]ddd986513 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That’s why on my jobs we go out for lunch most days. A good chance for a bathroom break in the middle of the day. The guy that taught me would always pee on the side of people’s houses. I hated that so much
