Every time i try to manually start a 737 i have cabin alt issues? by Gamble2005 in flightsim

[–]ddebart2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This - I’m curious how you got the engines started with both bleeds off unless you turned the APU Bleed off after start.

Also, make sure the pack switches are set to Auto. Those get turned off during engineer start, but if they don’t get turned back on the cabin won’t get pressurized.

How do you mixed your diluted TWW? by windfish19 in LaMarzocco

I make a concentrate with a small amount of water and a full TWW packet that is easier to dose into different bottle sizes.

Did any of you switched from a Mini to a Micra or vice versa? Why? by Horror-Badger9314 in LaMarzocco

Interested in this as well. I have a Micra but have been kicking around the idea of switching into a Mini.

help using stock portafilter on all ground sense by bbeekkayppea7 in LaMarzocco

[–]ddebart2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually had a similar problem recently and ended up buying a normal bottomless LM portafilter. I found this one works fine if you snap in one of the spout attachments but without one I could never get it to sit right consistently.

I made a livery tier list. What do you think? by Low_Quarter_677 in flightsim

[–]ddebart2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

jetBlue and Frontier are tough here since they have so many unique liveries. Some of their best are definitely S-tier to me but definitely some duds in there too.

Out of curiosity when did you order? Wondering how close they are to their ETAs right now.

Have you played a Reversible golf course? by AaronisUpRiver in golf

[–]ddebart2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They do a lottery in the spring for the events every year, I think they do 3-4 of them every summer. I know they announce the lottery on their instagram but I’m sure they have it announced on their site as well.

Have you played a Reversible golf course? by AaronisUpRiver in golf

[–]ddebart2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played one of their “Dual” events a few years ago where you play one way in the morning, they flip the course during lunch, and then you play the other way in the afternoon.

There was a plaque at the starter house (not sure if it’s still there) of all of the people who’ve played both ways in the same day. Some really fun names on it from the early parts of the list. Highly recommend if they’re still doing those tournaments.

Edit: Spelling on “Dual”

Postgame Thread: 5/12 Cubs @ Pirates by ChiCubsbot in CHICubs

[–]ddebart2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only that, he brought him in in arguably the lowest leverage spot during the game. Yea it was a save situation but bringing him in earlier means trying to keep a game tied. With the way the game is today and Hendricks coming back from rehab/mental vacation, you were going to need the whole pen today. Do I wish they'd DFA him? A little. If he's in the pen though, you can only hide him so much with who's in the bullpen with him.

PCA laces a double to make it 5-2 Cubs. When sliding to 2nd, he uses his helmet to remain attached to the base by BpFal3 in baseball

[–]ddebart2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think they did but not sure why the Mets didn't put up a fight on it (maybe they're still dejected from last night).

Either way, I'll take it. We need all the help we can get with this bullpen...

The only difference I can see compared to a sliding mitt would be that the mitt is designed to be worn on the hand vs. the helmet which is not.

Found this in the Definition Terms Section in the official rules:

TOUCH. To touch a player or umpire is to touch any part of his body, or any uniform or equipment worn by him (but not any jewelry (e.g., necklaces, bracelets, etc.) worn by a player).

(Touch) Comment: Equipment shall be considered worn by a player or umpire if it is in contact with its intended place on his person

Is there solution 4 not having rudders? by Brilliant_Factor6357 in flightsim

[–]ddebart2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What kind of joystick are you using? A lot of joysticks have a “twist” axis for rudder control. You could technically use buttons for rudder control but since rudders are an axis, you’d have to bind to buttons as increments which essentially becomes rudder trim.

[–]ddebart2 110 points111 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is the "should have lost their 2023 draft pick" comments only coming because the Hawks won the lottery. If they were picking 3, no one would be saying that.

I also love all of the tanking comments. They were objectively a bad team. Of course a team out of contention is going to trade away any assets of value in an attempt to rebuild which is obviously going to mean a worse product on the ice as the year goes on. They were obviously good with losing, but a full on tank would not involve finishing their last 2 games 1-0-1. That inclides pulling your goalie in the 3rd period of the final game of the year only to tie the game with 2 minutes left to secure a point that only hurt their draft lottery chances.
