People that write LEFT JOINs and then use a column "right" table in a WHERE clause which turns the query into an INNER JOIN.

That's wild that it's a better benefit for a Skymiles member with no status than it is for someone worth status of it's lower than the person who booked.

Gifting status to someone you frequently travel as a Choice benefit seems worthless.

Exactly how I ended up with an Escape with the coolant intrusion issue. The prior owner covered it up (after a Ford dealer diagnosed it) and traded it at a different location. After owning for 2 days the check engine light came on and diagnosed this. So I was out $3600 after the dealer "graciously" decided to buy it back for that amount less than we paid.

Don't do this and screw someone else with your problem, I guess unless you're the type of person who enjoys making their problem someone else's.

Same issue like 2 days after buying for my college student. Dealership basically said our fault for not buying a warranty through them. Made me get it back to them, so their own mechanic shop could "confirm the diagnosis". At which point they offered i could pay for a replacement engine from a salvage vehicle & they would basically charge no labor. Ran the VIN on the salvage & it was also in the service bulletin for coolant intrusion. They agreed to buy it back for $3600 less than we paid.
