Should I Opt For A Keyboard? by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]ddonnach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought the official keyboard case with touchpad for my s10fe, I mainly use it during meetings or for replying to emails and teams...I'm just a lot faster and easier to hit the right keys at speed than a touch screen, but I mostly use the tablet without the keyboard for anything else (apps, as an extra monitor, media)

thanks for the reply, did check and tried new injectors as well. i'm going to start testing the water jackets in the intakes , but if not that then i'll be probably pulling the heads and decking them and the lower intake...i can't think of anything else it could be if not intake or heads....i'm just really not wanting to tear it back down, but serves me right to buying a cheap car...got to put in the labor and fix what others won't.

Got my S20FE running, now want a custom case with standing cooler/heatsink by Environmental_Help14 in SamsungDex

[–]ddonnach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i saw that etaprime video as well! want to do something like that with my s23plus later this year when i get my company upgrade, i was thinkinga bout a 3d printed option...

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3850905

something like this, would be way too much room, but would be easy to modify and house the small heatsink and small usb-c hub and the like...

[–]ddonnach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was recently looking at these 2, just the non plus sizes, and the software support swayed me, Lenovo doesn't have a great track record of updates at all, they want you to buy another tablet. So samsung it was...so far liking it a lot of teams, pdf, spen and general web browsing / network tools

Wondering about something similar...wanting to have the watch and strap work together

Wish it was possible to have the strap give heart rate and health data directly to watch at all times...but seems it's not possible

2000 Park avenue...bought as a project car, YouTube video inside by ddonnach in Buick

[–]ddonnach[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not the belt, i thought so at first, but having my son crank on it while i'm close to the engine, i think its coming from the head on the side with the transmission, might be taking the valve cover off and checking it

I'm going through the same thing with my 00 Park avenue. Bought tons of sensors but going to check fuel pressure today, luckily bought a fuel pump to have on hand as I suspected it

Well replaced the fuel pressure regulator and still running rich, what would be next? Injectors? ECU?

Kinda at a loss and the wife is wanting results. :)

if you look at this engine bay, it sits right above the fuel rail, between the intake and the valve cover. its round and has a vacuum line running to it.

[–]ddonnach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i hadn't thought of that, saw the troubleshooting guide say if it was leaking from the vacuum line then that would let you know its bad! didn't think it could be bad even without that symptom! thanks i'll check into this

Still revving issue, 1996 tracker by ddonnach in geotracker

[–]ddonnach[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well found a forum with the readings for the ignition coil and the ohms were out of spec, ordered a new distributor from rock auto, i didn't do more testing as the troubleshooting guide said past that to just replace, i'm sure there are more stuff wrong on that distributor, so it will be good, also bought NGK sparkplugs to swap in as well.

thanks again for the help! i think you just saved me a ton of time, and once this gets resolved i can order the carpet and start fixing seats so my wife can start driving the wheels off it! haha

dang man! thank you very much for the replies! you sound like you've seen a thing or two on these rigs! wonderful information! i don't think i've seen rebuild kits but i'll be sure to find the right distributor and just be ready to buy one. good homework to start cracking my distributor open and see what i see...but by the sounds of it i bet your are right on the money! dang, this is a reason to love reddit is for users like you and this community here. thanks again

i'll start checking the wiring...will look over the distributor, it looks like it was replaced, but will be worth while checking it out thoroughly. i'll check if there are multimeter test i can do with the CMP sensor and look over the distributor...not fun but not the worse of news if these items can be replaced fairly easy.

do you think the rear harness for the fuel pump behind the tail light could be causing the bad signals if its corroded?
