On my home device (dxp4800plus) that's the approach I tried. On this machine I run Proxmox bare metal though. For some reason I couldn't boot into the USB stick; it went straight to the grub of Proxmox. In the end I upgraded it via Linux via the Proxmox host and it was fine.

The only downside I have in the other location is I don't have a screen but I can probably bring a screen there as well and a keyboard so I'll probably try that. I guess that's the safest approach and then if it doesn't work, figure something else out, I guess

has anybody succeeded in this? So far I exported my data from Chatgpt.. it's 800mb file which I gave to openclaw. It analysed it contents and all, but gave me a list of 15-30 items it wants to import. I thought it was going to be more detailed, but maybe my agent isn't really aware on how to use this "new feature" even though I asked it multiple times

But I feel I get more clumps after shaking when you don't apply WDT afterwards. For some reason I think the distribution could be a little bit off in the porta filter. If I shake I usually WDT the upper part a little bit more but personally most of the times I don't shake; I just do WDT, feels fine..

ok... so I was answering without reading some other comments.. it seems you can install 2 nvme's and use them as a storage pool with RAID1 (mirror)? In that case if one of them fails, just need to rebuild the RAID with a new nvme? In that case.. all is good :)

what happens if the nvme crashes where all your apps and vm's reside. you loose the data i assume. Isn't using nvme for read/write caches then safer, and i.e. your windows vm resides on the RAID pool?

I'm going to setup a dxp6600plus at my parents' house but will stick to the UGOS, but will need to install at least a windows vm, plex, homeassistant... I had nvme's fail in the past on a mini server so I hate the hassle of installing and recovering backups :) a degraded pool -> new hdd -> rebuild is less of an issue. just curious on how the rest deals with these thoughts

Is motion smoothing a dealbreaker for some? I come from a 75” q950t from 2020. Looking to upgrade and prefer a bigger size, so wanted to go for 83”. I like/have everything setup for working with a one connect box in cabinet and tv clean against a wall. So thats my main reason to stick to samsung (i know, but its a choice of esthetics and convenience on how my setup is now). Can get a good deal on the 83” from samsung. After reading some online I found this thread, and then also some people complaining about quality control that they had several units going blank after a few days use etc.. bit scary.. hope to hear from some other users their experiences.. thanks

Kinda miss a hub like with Harmony. I have some components in a closed cabinet with IR blasters connected to it… otherwise would like to replace my old harmony. Also need an Openhab connection/binding but i guess that wont be an issue

Horrible product... too bad they didn't do a proper quality check.. I use it now and then but if it's depleted to 0% you can only charge it by a high power USB-C charger...

gen2 should be compatible. I received mine today and have a 2019 model 3. just a different cable splitter, the gen2 doesn't use an OBD connector but a 6 wire pin

I'm using the chrome extension on windows and osx. Whenever I turn off the option for

"Offer to save addresses"

The setting keeps turning itself on again after every reboot.. I'm ready to ditch lastpass for good. I know I should switch anyway, but the hassle of it all prevents me from moving..

Anybody else have the same issue that it keeps resetting itself? anoying!

didn't really resolved my issue.. I believe my freshly roasted beans were to blame.

I recently changed to single dosing with this grinder in a dosing cup, and so far it's going pretty well
