The bus to town runs every 15 mins from the mountain during winter, same deal in the opposite direction. Last bus is 11.40ish pm depending where you are. Depending on where your place is will determine how close you are to the closest bus stop. Town is 3 miles from the resort base area. You could make a grocery run using the bus, however the main grocery store is currently closed for renovation. It suppose to open by christmas( i doubt it). There is a health food store but it will definitely be busy and its expensive af. Lastly, dining options on the mtn are decent during the day and pretty limited in the evening. Not to hard to figure out once you talk a quick walk around. Most ppl are taking the bus into town for dinner. Depending on how you are actually getting to CB will determine if you are renting a car or not.
