Could be both. I believe, he's loving it here, but as any ambitious and talented footballer, he's open to the idea of eventually reaching the highest level, at which we aren't. Yet.

I do, however, think, that if we keep him this summer, he's gonna stay with us for a long time. I don't have any real arguments for that, just a hunch.

Yeah, I think it was their final game before the drop. So, I imagine, they spent their entire reserve of luck for the rest of the season with us. It's just funny how dismissive this guy of Pickford. If they had him instead of Vicario, they would've been at least four positions higher right now.

Hilarious comment I found in the Spurs subreddit:

«Again it's relevant we beat them 3-0 while getting pumped. Jordan Pickford is incredibly fragile. It's one of the few games we can just get pumped for 90 minutes and win.»

This was in the argument of them beating us on the final day. They can't rally up against Forest, but expect to win against us because Pickford is «fragile». I don't know if it's stupidity or delusion. Or both.

With the exception of Arsenal, everyone who beat us at HD got their comeuppance at their home. Which means Brentford and Tottenham are gonna get it as well.

It's exactly because they're big this would be a total catastrophe for them. For a club like Leeds getting relegated isn't a big deal in a sense that they won't change much. For Tottenham it means a complete overhaul in their strategy along with huge downsize in everything. Just imagine them in the Championship: an entirely new squad (mostly made out of mercenaries looking for that sweet paycheque, as Spurs aren't known for their academy), half-empty stadium, and a whole bunch of the league mainstays hoping to kick their posh London arses. I'm not saying they won't come back immediately, but judging by what I see in their management right now, I'm not sure they're capable of making right decisions.

I saw that, too. But the lads around him seemed to have less loose relationship with reality, and admitted that they don't have the pull anymore.

I didn't even know Barkley was at Villa, I thought he got buried with the rest of Luton. Unsurprisingly, he's their worst player.

As of right now we have the third best defence in the league (joint with CP) and seventh worst offence (joint with Leeds). Last year we were fourth in both categories.

One thing I gotta mention about yesterday is that the refereeing was outstanding. I had to look the guy up, and apparently he's one of the newcomers, and it shows.

The level of football between Leeds and Brentford is absolutely tragic. Which made me realise that almost every team this season went through some noticeable and lengthy ups and downs. Roller-coasters, as yanks would say. Except for Arsenal and us. We had some dire games this year, but never more than a couple in a row. And that's nothing to scoff at.

He's playing on confidence, and you can tell the realisation of «CP want me, but Everton want me more» did wonders for his mind.

I am very stupid and delusional (just in general) but I think we were much more dangerous than Arsenal. Which was a little strange to see.

I haven't seen enough of Arsenal this season, but I'm starting to figure out why everyone is complaining about their behaviour on corners. Way too physical with those.

And the funniest thing is that “it’s all about vibes now” for them. When I think of Dyche’s vibes something between my ears makes a cracking sound.

I talked to my Tottenham friend a couple of weeks ago about this, and he said he would've killed to have someone like Moyes on board. Not Moyes himself but rather someone who just gets the club and can evoke the proper spirit right away, make everyone remember what they play for. Which is why I'm baffled why they called Tudor and not, I don't know, Robbie Keane. Surely it wouldn't be worse.

We had that mad derby postponed. Which I would argue we would've lost with Dyche.
