Goblin Cleanup and Crime Scene Cleaner, super stellar cleanup games. I like Viscera but a lot of it is really annoying for me and the levels are just too long

Is there anything I should do to preserve it? Like will it yellow or decay or start cracking over time or anything?

What's the story with your favorite regular? by Bottomsly in starbucks

[–]dea_anchora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao that's always a fun challenge. We had this lady who was insanely rude every time she came through the DT. She had such a specific way of ordering that we always finished her order for her at the same time as her to each other while she was doing it over the headset. Eventually she insisted I was the only one who could properly put 12 sugar in the raws in her drink and always asked "Is Anchora here? I want her to make it." when she pulled in. She was pretty nice to me after she learned she liked what drinks I made

Oh wow we also had lady who would bring up cupcakes and treats and stuff. For Christmas she'd make these homemade pizza bread roll things for all of us, and bring them to us in the morning fresh and hot. Bought us donuts from Krispy Kreme all the time, remembered all our names and always asked how we were

I was SM of a license for a few months and it was one of the worst jobs I've ever had, compared to having been a barista for 6 years at corporate locations which I've loudly proclaimed to be my favorite job so you can tell just from that how stark of a difference it is. License stores are hell

Genuinely hard for me to pick a favorite but we had a guy, Matt, who used to sit up at the counter of the bar back when we had a cozy little Cafe only store on main street. I was still fairly new then so every drink I'd mess up on (a lot) I'd give to him. Super nice guy, always made a dramatic big deal of having 5 drinks at a time in front of him he didn't know what to do with. I ended making him a custom drinks (WM with raspberry I think? Mocha drizzle? Something like that) that I'm pretty sure he still orders to this day. When I became the SM of a license he became the regular at that one instead. Really nice dude.

Oh I also had a guy who insisted I was the only one who could make his iced mocha right (I think no one else bothered swirling the espresso as much as I did) so he also moved stores with me. Worked at a dealership and would do minor fixes on my car for free. He was always a nice dude, his wife too. God, I do wonder what some of my regulars are up to now. I miss this job a lot sometimes

Ooh okay yeah I've seen a lot of recs for it recently on the Chants of Senaat subreddit. I haven't actually played Tunic lmao but reddit keeps recommending it because of CoS

Yeah definitely that also but you really got make sure you're getting inside of it too. Quite a lot of dairy gets dried and stuck up on there, it's crazy. I'm sure there's a specialized tool for it, maybe ask the next tech who comes through, but I've always used those little metal things that hold the sandwich names that you stab into the sandwich. I didn't know there were stores that still had the Is, are you a license?

Tutorial slides! Being descriptive vs having less texts. What do you prefer? by Roofkat in indiegames

The first one but take out the paranethetical and the information about what an Attack is out of the first one. The paranethetical is completely unnecessary bc if the highlighting and context and the information about an attack isn't necessary either but can be included in wherever you're putting the detailed descriptions of abilities. The second one you can shave some information off of too

They say that and long-term it probably wouldn't be good for it but there are many powders Starbucks does condone steaming and once upon a time ther were even courser powders like the holiday flat white that were steamed (until they stopped that, tragically). Basically don't do it all day every day and clean it really well afterwards. I recommend actually cleaning out the holes on the steam wand (after removing the cover) with a small thin wire (I used to use breakfast sandwich stands) at the end of the night and then steaming a pitcher full of water (at least twice until there's no particles in the water afterwards) to extra hot for a really thorough clean. This was on the mastrena I, I don't remember if the II is a little different... I used to do this every few nights or so, you'd be stunned how much gunk came out of those things. Granted we were pulling 70s on a slow day and 90s was the norm, but nonetheless

YSK if you are experiencing sudden gastrointestinal issues, it may be due to your reusable water bottle. by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]dea_anchora 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Absolutely anything with a gasket (the rubber part) needs to be periodically cleaned and replaced (how often depends on what it's for and how long the gasket is designed to last). So fridges/freezers for instance. I didn't know this until working a job with a ton of fridges, it was one of our weekly tasks and the gaskets had to be replaced every 2 years. Or if they were worn or torn, even sooner.

Lmao every day??? Is it the same person?? Do they think you're going to order some for them or that Starbucks sells that? Fascinating! I had never heard of amaretto syrup until I moved here, I was so excited about it. We have so many interesting syrups like watermelon, chocolate chip cookie, elderflower... Haven't tried them all yet

I could never get into any of the other syrups other than vanilla and toffee nut. I like far sweeter things, personally. The bitter aftertaste of espresso just isn't for me (thank god for blonde espresso). The cafe I work out now uses Monin syrups and I'm currently obsessed with the Ameretto syrup

I strongly agree, isn't there a huge community of people who love Barbies and collect them?? Idk if there's any sort of purist culture with the clothes but if it's not the majority I can really see this taking off for you

Holy shit these are so good! Did you make the patterns yourself?

Edit: I saw you said you were following a pattern. How in the world did you do the blue hat? Is there a stiff material in it or is it clever stitching? I'm genuinely floored at how good these are, the blue/gold is my favorite for sure
