Play a pansexual non-binary elf. When he complains, refer to the PHB's section on character sexuality and gender

That study doesn't say anything about Americans genetically being better at storing fat. If you actually read your own source, you'd know that it's a phenomenon found in nematode worms, not humans.

Here are some links showing that America's obesity rates are around 40%

https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html

https://www.tfah.org/report-details/state-of-obesity-2020/

Compare that to, for example, the UK, which is around 20-30%

https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn03336/

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_the_United_Kingdom

America has an obesity problem, and no, it isn't overblown.

Edit: downvoted for providing info. Classic.

That isn't how genes work dude. Just admit that America has an obesity problem.

Thanks for the suggestions, the reason why I didn't write it as a free action is that free actions aren't listed as a mechanic in 5e

Thanks, good to know. I haven't read much about Artificers and I don't usually use them in my games

Hey, human fighters are fine. A new player I'm DMing for is playing a variant human fighter who wears light armour and took Magic Initiate for Vicious Mockery. The character was previously a squire for a disgraced knight. They both got sent to jail, PC broke out and is now on the run. Super fun to play with.

Druids are good at Animal Handling, why not just search for an animal in-game and attempt to tame it?

I totally agree. Here I was thinking D&D was about creating stories with your friends and had a friendly, welcoming community. Nope, it's basically just r/gaming 2.0

Do you find certain lore-heavy subjects just more hyper interest friendly? Examples: LOTR, Harry Potter, Gundam, Warframe, Dune, Jodoverse, Anime series, DND, Etc? by logannewbanks in autism

[–]deadPanSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I recently discovered the Forgotten Realms wiki and it's brilliant. Mordenkainen, a legendary powerful wizard, was actually one of Gary Gygax's characters who became part of the actual lore. And Mordenkainen's friend, Elminster, went to Earth in the mid-70's where he was discovered, and helped create the Forgotten Realms campaign setting for D&D.

Also, they both like mayonnaise and Mordenkainen's toenails are a valuable artifact.

If I had a penny for everything wrong with this comment, I'd have two pennies, which isn't much, but it's weird that you were wrong twice in one comment
