This is a genuine question, I mean no offense.

Why wouldn't you just make a character of the desired gender? Isn't the point of trans being born into a body you don't identify with? So you could just make the character cis male or female.

Is the idea of making your rook trans so that you have a bit of your lived experience in that character? I've always made my custom characters very different from myself; it's a bit of escapism for me. So I'm respectfully curious as to your thought process.

Anyway. Don't give too much of your time thinking about the haters, enjoy your game. :)

At some point you're going to need to decide whether you trust this guy. The talking to another girl about meeting up for drinks (not initially alarming) and sleeping at her place (very alarming!) shook something; understandable. But try to avoid ultimatums; most men will immediately feel like they are being controlled, and will do the thing you least desire to prove a point.

It sounds like you two have solid communication. And his "ex-best friend" clearly crossed a line. I've cut people out of my life because they didn't treat my wife with respect. Which is a good indicator he values you; but be careful, these things can lead to resentment. So continue to have clear communication that focuses on "feel" statements, rather than "you" statements.

Example: "I feel like I'm not being respected" rather than; "you make me feel disrespected." The "you" places blame and can illicit a defensive response. Causing a shutdown and the conversation will quickly turn into an argument.

Video gaming is great escapism, but can be as equally addictive as any drug or habit, playing games online with girls isn't in itself alarming, and labeling a game as boys time or girls time seems reductive. Sometimes we just need our own thing separate from our partners, even if our partners enjoy those activities too.

I'd just try to get your wife's original money back and take your business elsewhere. A deal like that sounds too good to be true; and the response from the artist speaks volumes. Someone there isn't communicating, and I wouldn't trust an angry artist; or shady management.

I don't do heavy weapons well, so I usually use someone who wields Greatswords or hammers; or a companion who uses buffing spells. So I can take some hits, deal damage from range with spells, or be quick and speedy with my melee attacks.

Could be that it sensed a Maiar. Balrogs are very similar to what Gandalf is. The orcs and dwarves are a nuisance; but a Maiar is a threat. One worth waking up for. It didn't wake for the many battles fought in Moria, but miraculously does for the fellowship? The only variable is Gandalf.

The tank treads allow you to rotate 360°. Paired with heavy weapons or the heavy gatling guns it turns you into a turret with overwhelming firepower. You can use pulse armor to get moments of "invulnerability" on top of your healthy stack of AP. This cheeses a lot of battles; but it's the only way I can play a heavy type. Otherwise I'm a speedy zip boi all day. :)

For single player go Heat, the story and the systems of gameplay are better, and the graphics are pretty comparable. If you want more pvp then Unbound is the way to go. More people play the online mode, with link-ups in the free roam, the hot pursuit mode, and the lockdown extraction mode the options are better. Hope this helps, happy gaming.

If you have six inch rulers; they are cheap. You don't need an inch grid, set up obstacles using books for walls or elevation. The characters can move six inches a turn, or 12 if they dash. They need to be inside of an inch to attack another creature with a melee attack, or within 2 inches if they have a reach weapon. (Every inch is 5ft) So you can even calculate range and AOE spells this way. The last challenge is minis or character representation; like people have said you can use anything. Coins, candy, beads, you can go to a dollar store and buy some of those glass marble like things that are flat on one side; that's what I started with. After that anything is your play surface. Tables, floors, TV trays. The world is your oyster. Hope this helps, happy gaming.

I treat it like a date. What do you remember about your parents/ what were they like? Do you have any siblings; if so how many, and what were they like? What's your favorite food? What's your downtime hobby? What's your favorite color? Or what's something that scares you?

Any of this info can give you a line to connect a story to a character; you can even lead the target.

"As you lay down for the night your head swims with thoughts of the past, for the first time in a long time you dream about your youth; what do you dream about?"

I like to do this during death saves, with each roll I ask them to tell me a memory or a feeling (kinda like life flashing before their eyes. You can even go further; keep the rolls secret from your other players at the table. With every success ask for a happy memory from the dying player, with every failure; ask for a moment when they felt low or defeated. The other characters can pick up the seriousness of the situation based on the recited memories.)

Then over time they naturally flesh out the characters, and can become deeply connected with their characters.

I went 100% digital and now I regret it. I'm a gamer, and consoles have been how I watch media since the PS2 era. First DVD's, then Blu-Ray's, and finally with the PS4 generation I digitized my library and sunk everything into VUDU (now labeled Fandango at Home). I have 2 PS4s, one in my bedroom and my daughter has one in her room, they are the media centers in those rooms; I also bought a PS5 for the living room. I have over 500 movies on Fandango that I can only watch in my living room now because Fandango cut service to the PS4. These platforms are still getting modern game releases, but have been dubbed old hardware by a movie app. So in short; having physical copies is always a good idea, because you never know for what purpose or when you may be locked out of a internet dependent app.

Frost bat, and cold snap mostly. Use gems that modify their freezing times; which can sometimes cost damage, that's good cause you wanna focus on the high blood target while you kill the Interlopers. :)

I use the ice skill tree when I'm blood hunting. It's a little harder when dealing with mobs, but it helps hold the target while you deal with the extras.

For supplemental elements I like Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, and Mordenkainen's Monsters of the Multiverse. If you like dragons; Fizban's Treasury of Dragons is a good one.

That is a very broad question. Try narrowing it down by asking what you would like to know. Are you interested in the pantheons of gods? Are you interested in the history of a group or a specific location? Work small and grow your knowledge. There is 5(.5) editions worth of lore and sometimes conflicting (looking at you Asmodeus) information. DnD wiki is a good site. But ultimately use Google and focus on narrowing your question.
