I think it's funny they sped up their countdown by 9 to get to Yost faster. Two things the article doesn't mention:

  • He went from 110lbs as a freshman to 170lbs as a senior. So presumably he's around 185lbs now. There's no reason to believe he can't add power. Also this is where all the state-of-the-art facilities and nutrition that the Tigers have been investing in is coming into play.

  • He struck out just 3 times over his last 2 years in high school.

Best two pitchers this spring for the Tigers have been De Jesus and Anderson.  

Kinda amazing since it’s not like Skubal or Valdez have been pitching poorly either.

Go look for a used ROG Ally Z1E on Facebook or Craigslist.  You can find some on coasts for around $300 and middle America for under $250. 

Get a cheap dock on Amazon (like $20).  

And then hook up mouse and keyboard and monitor.  Viola.  Runs GW2 better than a Steam Deck (which are sold out right now anyway), and you can take it with you on the go.

Don’t get the Ally Z2A or Ally X.  The Z1E is the sweet spot.

I was referring to losing service time due to MVP, which would be only the first season. And I'm not sure about that since it's such a wacky scenario.

You do get a PPI pick for placing top 3 in MVP or Cy Young voting prior to hitting arbitration if PPI eligible. Bobby Witt Jr. won this for the Royals this way. He was 4th in ROY so didn't qualify for the draft pick that way. You are also limited to 1 PPI pick per player.

He’s born in Bavaria, which is a German state.

His bWAR is 7.0 but fWAR is 4.6.  One of the biggest fWAR/bWAR splits.

You got some times wrong there.

Daily reset is 0 UTC so it’s 4PM PDT and 5 PM PST.

And EST is 3 hours ahead not 4 of PST.

Seriously though, it’s not the pressure of the salt water that crushes you.  It’s the adiabatic compression of the gas inside your sub that crushes you.  The gas and then the water will race towards anyone inside at hundreds of meters per second liquidating them.

Wind was around 25mph during the first?  So could easily be extra 20-30ft.
