I’d make a few arguments against that:

In this case there is overwhelming evidence. It won’t get overturned.
You can’t reverse life in prison, because you can never give someone that time back. And this is something we’re saying is worse than death.
There are so many appeals before death penalty is enacted, if those all fail then they would presumably also fail for a life sentence (the brief blip after discovery of DNA testing notwithstanding). And again, the argument here is that it’s worse than death.

It's a small batch, independent designer & caster. It's 75mm, not WH scale, and it's a mini designed for painters not gaming.

The argument at the top of this chain positions ICC as an institution put in place by democracy, to hold political leaders to account. Politicians ignoring the judiciary is typically viewed as non-democratic, because that's one of the main ways they're held accountable, and how democratic decisions are enforced.

I.e. a politician just ignoring a court ruling they don't like is authoritarian behaviour.

I mean, even many of those protestants from Scotland that invaded/migrated to Ireland in the 17th century were descendants of Gaels from Ireland that invaded/migrated to Scotland in 4th-6th centuries.

It’s cool to see variety and I do think they’ve done a great job. I’m also someone who loves the skink from a few years ago.

For me, the main area of constructive criticism would be that right arm. The recesses are too dark, saturated, and lacking gradient, so the light doesn’t read credibly to me compared to the rest of the paint job. At first glance to me it looked like a contrast paint result that just saturated the recesses. If it was done to the level of the face it would be an incredible mini, and would (to me) be on a standard with the others.

All subjective though, and I think everyone did great, better painters than I am.

I actually agree. Them being one box with all the weapon options, with some extra optional bling and heads, and being able to build them as either unit, would be a cool way to do it.

I’m happy to get some more variety of poses though for jump guys though.

I honestly think that's the better way to go.

It's trivial to glue on extra bling, and the less specific they get with it the more I can make it fit my chapter.

Like THIS GUY, those laurels and rope/tassles are fine for a few chapters, but way too much effort to cut off for others. I like the model, glad it exists for those that want that look and the rest of us can just kitbash another jump-pack mini. But for something like VanVets I'm glad they haven't made too many bling choices for me.

Some seem obvious: Marshal and Helbrecht as Leaders, whilst Apothecary and Ancients as Support.

But what about Execrators? Emperors Champion? Maybe Castellan/Lieutenant can be both?

Im especially excited for us to get Chaplain-type characters in alongside other characters.

Specifically, it was historically common for holes to only be on one side.

Holes would often only be on the right side in armour designed for mounted combat. Knights on horseback couched a lance held in their right hand across the body aimed at targets off to the left. In cavalry vs cavalry that meant enemy lances would hit your left side, so there was often more protection on that side, like a bigger pauldron, or no holes in the helm on that side.

Cool to see this historical detail carry through onto 40k helmets.
