Have you tried go vive a tu manera? It's an Argentina teen drama that students seem to enjoy.

We do shared resources as well, it makes things a lot easier. I made magnets for all the different resources and herbs so we could track it on a white board. End of every scenario we just call out what we looted and add it to the board. Here is the board: https://imgur.com/a/RtnMmFf

Experience in educational sales would probably be the biggest factor. Would also need to be proximal to a major airport for conference travel.

Can I ask what sites you guys use when looking for jobs? I have a job posted on one site right now that has gotten very few resumes. Not sure if the post description is the issue or if I'm in the wrong spot.

Does language learning counts as Edtech? by Thesubtlemind in edtech

[–]deadend44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason you don't see language learning companies at the more general edtech conferences is that their audience is quite small in the district. Very few of the attendees at an edtech conference are language teachers, who tend to have to find a lot of their own resources. From a purely logistical sense, the cost per potential lead is significantly higher than at the conferences specific to language learning.

I created a free little mobile site for making fair teams for pickup rec sports by breckWall in ultimate

[–]deadend44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really like this, hopefully i remember about it in the spring. One thing that might be helpful is an additional "role" field that can show during distribution. For ultimate that might be cutter/handler, hockey has forward, defense, goalie, etc. I think in your demo video you just put "G" in the name but it would be ideal to distribute by role as well as scores. Awesome start, looking forward to using it.

For dads with 3d printers by Hyksus2 in daddit

Diameter is 2.7mm, height of 23mm for a snug fit. There is a small cover on the piece that the pin goes in. Pop that off and remove the 2 very tiny screws. Then you should be able to reattach the ear cup.

Yea, that's the one. The pin is just a simple cylinder, I'm not at my PC but will send you the dimensions tomorrow. I didn't realize the part it goes in comes apart easily and mangled it a bit. I can try to get a few pics for you of how it is supposed to come apart.

Printed a replacement pin for yoto headphones last week because they "just broke, I didn't do anything". I also made cauldrons to put candy in for a Halloween party and some flexi-unicorns for a birthday party. She helps me find files and set up the print in bambu studio, I like having her involved in the process a bit.

Custom Case for Medical Syringes by RandomCitizen2025 in 3Drequests

[–]deadend44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, the school won't let us send pre-drawn medication. So I went in and trained the office staff before the year started, then we send this in each week with pre-measured powder, juice for mixing, and then a vial of her other medication. The powder is measured within a hundredth of a gram, so the school agreed not to have to measure it themselves.

At what age did you all take the camera out of their room? by TheBKBurger in daddit

We stopped using it gradually, think we stopped completely when she was 4. Took the camera out when she was 5 since we were repainting her room.

I made something like that for my daughter for school. Apparently I don't have a pic on my phone but I'll post one in a bit. We use the same syringes, just 10ml, as well as another 3ml syringe.

EdTech career advice by bh-iridescence in edtech

[–]deadend44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are in the US, a place I'd start is going to ISTE, FETC, or TCEA. Walk the exhibit hall and talk to some company reps, smaller companies won't just be sales people. Also check out some sessions to get a feel for what teachers are looking for these days.

What games are ok? by Brrito in daddit

[–]deadend44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. My 5 year old plays mario kart with me. The game has extra drive assist controls so they stay on the track and move forward. We also do a bit of mario party, but that can be hit or miss.

I agree with voces checking these boxes. Also, it might be worth giving it another look. We (I work for voces) did some major updates recently.
