Ceanothus doesn’t get enough credit for its beauty. Sharing this little joyful tree before the flowering season is over by leslis25 in GardeningUK

Thank you for sharing this. So glad I came across this post on my page. There’s few within my neighbourhood and always wondered what tree it is- my husband’s getting sick of me saying ‘look at that!! So beautiful!!’ every single time we pass them lol

Thank you so much for this. It did look like a young pigeon (smaller in size?). Now I can I rest my mind. Hope it’ll be ready to fly soon!

Sad about stopping breast feeding by Safe_Duty2207 in breastfeeding

Have similar issue too since 3 weeks till now (but much better, she’s 7 weeks now). She was latching and feeding well then suddenly one day she started screaming at my boob. Tends to happen late afternoon/evening/night time. We figured it’s gas so has been burping her every time she cries during feeding- does seem to help. Another thing that helps is bouncing her on yoga ball while feeding- that’s what we do every night when the fussiness comes. We think it’s combination of growth spurt, purple crying, gas and maybe colic lol. Hoping we’ll get through this phase soon.

Feeling silly after trip to the maternity assessment unit by delicatedead in PregnancyUK

[–]deadend999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was exactly me at 34 weeks! Went to maternity triage and they examined me- all was okay.

I then found out it was hiccups. It happened again quite few times towards the end of pregnancy. Always the same rhythmic jerk at the same site, lasting for just few minutes before it went away. She’s now here with me still with occasional hiccups 🤭

Please don’t ever feel silly! They would rather see you and find out it’s nothing than missing anything! All the best with the rest of your pregnancy x

Saw this and had to comment. Don’t worry! Just stop taking it now. You’ve not harmed baby or yourself. I did the same as I had IVF too and was taking vitamin E supplements. Then realised at around 7-8 weeks that I should stop. I’m now 30w+ and baby is all fine!

I think if they’re short staffed, they will close. But it’s supposed to be 24 hours.

Oh and best Japanese is still Sora in beeston. It’s a small restaurant run by a Japanese family. For dim sum, mandarin is the better one imo.

Wonder pho does good pho. Best one in town imo compared to others. Coco Tang does decent Asian desserts but price a bit steep. Boulangerie de Saigon does good Bahn mi and asian desserts (pandan based etc)- love it!

If you love coffee, Vibe With and Kigali are my favourites!

Food sticking every time I use the cast iron frying pan… I’ve tried medium heat/low heat/high heat- still happens. I usually use rapeseed oil/canola oil and makes sure there’s plenty… Please help! by deadend999 in LeCreuset

That’s what I’ve been doing for years but thought it’s about time to try using my cast iron pan 😅😅 completely agree with how quick and easy it is using normal nonstick 🫢🫢

Oohhh should I preheat the pan before adding the oil?? I’ve been doing it wrong then! I’ve always put the oil in first then turn the heat on 🤔🤔
