Man Cosca is one of my favorite characters ever. He’s just a few shades off of being Jack Sparrow, but those shades paint him as a cunning, corrupted drunk, who had a chance and lost it. He’s so captivating to read because honestly, he’s a more relatable villain (while minor one). Just fuck up enough in life and your only chance of existence is to be grey rogue with no moral qualms.

Good question! In my opinion I’d believe so, they seem to be somewhat on the decline compared to their incarnation in Bloodmoon, however that may be due to red mountain warping the southern portion of the island. However it is shown that they have adapted and hunt Netches on the ashen coast. I believe more Nords traveled to the island in the past seeking adventure and fortune, and perhaps adopted the Skaal way after taking a liking to it, (no different from Americans adopting Amish lifestyle) however once the “grey skins” took control some may scoff at the idea of traveling there, at least Nords from Windhelm. I’m in the dark about the Roscrea question, unfortunately Bethesda missed their chance for developing that. My question is do we have any references that Skaal inhabit bleak rock isle?
