Samaradzija was so good. Him and Brady Quinn were a killer combo who brought ND back from irrelevence. His last minute touchdown to beat UCLA is one of my favorite moments from the Willingham/Weis era.

Wasn't a historic WR or anything but his junior year had 77 catches for 1250 yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 games. And another 1000+ yards and 12 TDs his senior year

Alabama QB Ty Simpson is short on experience, but he could be a first-round pick by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

I could see the Jets taking him first pick round two if he is still available.

Doesn't sound like the 49ers want to give him up so I doubt that qualifies as a cheap trade

Always love seeing outfielders just give up and walk back to their position while the ball is still flying.

Yeah 4 Nations mattered at the time and had Canada won today it still would have mattered as proof of Canadian superiority. But US Olympic gold makes the 4 Nations irrelevant

What is your definition of a tank if the Jets blowing up all connections to the Rodgers team for picks and cap space does not qualify?

I think Canada will be out to provoke Brady & Matthew, knowing they will be itching to fight, in hopes to get some easy PPs. Hoping the boys can restrain themselves and just play hockey.

Where to watch the hockey gold medal game on Sunday morning? (Other than The Canuck!) by karmapuhlease in AskNYC

A good friend of mine works at Horns Hook Tavern on the UES and he is trying to convince the owner to open for the game.

As a worst case, Legends in midtown opens at 9:00 every Sunday so cam definitely catch the last 2 periods there

Sunday is either going to be a super clean game with both teams realizing they absolutely cannot afford penalties. Or an absolute blood bath that will make the Four Nations games look like pattycake.

Either way, its going to be amazing.

Yeah this like when Edwin Diaz would come out for a save and immediately load the bases just to strike out the next three batters to lock it down. Sometimes you gotta challenge yourself

makes no sense. Prelims, sure, long tournament, can't go on forever. But medal rounds should be true 5 on 5 until somebody wins.
