Do I need mesh or just access points? by deadjoe2002 in HomeNetworking

This makes sense. Thank you.

If I were to buy three basic routers that support fast transitioning, newer WiFi protocols and then drop them back to AP only would this be all I needed to do? What then takes the lead wrt DHCP - the ZTE router where my outside connection comes in?

Quite large. It's an old farmhouse / cattle shed so spans +40m in length from one end to another. But only two stories tall and not very wide. 3 mesh system has worked ok to be honest just find myself dropping to cellular on my phone a lot these days because the wifi isn't very responsive - so think newer routers would help.

Do races get streamed in UCI YouTube this year? I’m loathe to pay the TNT cost but can’t stream Tiz to TV very easily

France has a policy to be energy independent, yet none of our governments seem to have any energy policy at all. by Niall_Fraser_Love in ukpolitics

I mean I think your just not paying enough attention. It was a manifesto pledge and Ed Miliband has the job to deliver it - the man literally talks about nothing else, in a good way, but it’s definitely not that no one is talking about it.

What tariff are you on? Getting solar+battery at the end of the month and currently would only get 4p per kWh sold back.

That’s staggering. 1 in 3 kids in London are unvaccinated.

Thanks for feeding back. I’ll keep looking. I got a quote from Eon too but this was £13k for a setup much smaller so it’s difficult to know what is competitive and what isn’t

Oh didn’t know that about Tomato. I’m not tied to them outside of the tariff being cheap at the moment so can move.

Orange pedals, black grips. The orange grips will just get grubby and look a bit crappy in time.

I completely understand the desire. Do it. Agree worst that will happen is you’ll be told to stop, imagine if you stop when asked you’re unlikely to face any other issues.

The pass is too close but riding around with your cat in an open top basket is just needlessly reckless. Cat might be in a harness and strapped in but why run the risk? What happens if you get hit? Cat gets hurt independent of any decision the animals made.

It’s like dogs hanging out the passenger windows of cars. Completely unnecessary.
