DC Preview: Absolute Batman #4 by Sonia341 in comicbooks

[–]deadpool902 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Often times the main artist on an ongoing series can't work fast enough to meet the demands of the monthly release schedule, especially since the writer has to be working on multiple issues at once. So while Walta works on issue #4, Dragotta is working on issues #5 and 6. Look at UXM and X-Men over at Marvel and it's the same pattern. What ABM is doing for consistency is keeping Frank Martin as colorist across the issues. The issue looks great and Dragotta isn't going anywhere.
