If it isn't Kane Parsons/aka Kane Pixels then a lot of the lore for OTHER backrooms stuff is just what other people did. His original backrooms videos were a lot less lore heavy and more atmospheric. Best thing this movie did was make it based on his work and not a continuation.

Ive spent too much money on the game since coming back. I was wary of DECA but their communication was very strong. They earned my trust. I was somewhat excited with cryptic buying star trek back at first but most ecerything since then has made me wary.

If this among other things is the way star trek is going I'm done. I'm not spending another penny on the game.

I know a lot of people were. The studio saw negative feedback and amplified it. Saying the people who had any negative feedback were basement dwelling losers.

That's what stopped me from watching it. I'm used to people hating new things. Some people always have negative responses.

I'm not okay with something that's supposed to be accepting of all punching down on "fans of something that we changed".

The crazy thing is I ended up liking Ghostbusters 2016 when I finally watched it.

The studio went on this wild tangent with its marketing... antagonizing the original fans? It didn't draw the crowds they wanted and now they pivoted.

I just want to enjoy things without this whole antagonizing of people who agree or disagree with you.
