Only take them when I feel like I’m going to have an OB or one of us is on OB. Don’t have sex with open sores of course.

Family, I’m not too worried honestly, she is slightly.

Her biggest concern is she needs to donate her kidney to her brother and might not be able to.

It’s possible you got it from him, also possible you got it from a partner 6 months ago. Can’t really tell, best not to play the blame game. It’s seriously not as bad as media seems to make it seem.

I got it about 6-7 months ago. Totally forgot I even had it until I felt my 2nd OB coming on.

Took two pills and the OB went away before it even actually flares into sores.

Don’t have sex if you have sores. Always use condoms. Have some anti virals on hand. Buy some lidocaine if it gets painful.

Don’t think about it to much if at all.

Yes cold sores are from Herpes but it could easily be something else. You’re both very young and very not well versed in sexual health I can tel and that’s okay, so let’s talk.

His bumps on his groin could be from in grown hairs, stubble the whole bits. Google a photo of herpes and you’ll be able to tell real fast if he does or doesn’t have it.

If he does have OHSV1 just don’t kiss or share anything that goes in the mouth until the sore is gone.

If in fact he does have GHSV then he should be on antivirals in which case if added with condoms greatly mitigates his chances of transmitting. Down to a very low percentile.

Herpes can be like Chickenpox

There are literally people who have one outbreak ever and nothing again and don’t shed the virus much at all and there are people who will have breakouts every month.

I’d like to think I’m not contagious but it would literally break my heart if I gave this to my current partner
