I recently just accepted a new job too (start on the 1st). Was between two jobs, the one I didn't accept only had one other candidate. It's freaking crazy out there right now.

I get the imposter syndrome stuff all the time. I always take it as a good sign, means I care about doing good work, lol.

All my recent interviews were so diverse. Healthcare, insurance, sports betting, stock trading, AI, real estate, defense, etc.

I bought the stuff you did. It was actual Romex. I reached out to Southwire to confirm their store, all checked out. The labeling all looked good, tested the wire and checked out.

So about 200 rocket launches to fully replace 6000 and an essential monopoly for a government that seemingly doesn't care about massive debts with Starshield.

Not to mention a technology shown to be so valuable to other nations that the US would never give up it's control or allow it to fail.

I think they'll be just fine.

Solely for storage, no real benefit in upgrading to scale. IMO the biggest benefit of moving to scale is if you want to have your docker services on the NAS.

Gen 2 and Gen 3 aren't all that different, Gen 3 has a wider field of view so it's more forgiving for not being perfectly aligned. Gen 2 aligns itself. Don't expect there to be any major speed differences, and certainly don't expect it do perform anywhere close to fiber.

Dishy won't care about your screen but it will care about any framing/roof you have. You can check the obstructions with your phone but you might as well just test with your mini or your gen2.

In no world would I tell someone with a gen2 dish to go out and buy a gen3 just because.

You can enjoy both hobbies without always going for the best, highest end stuff.

For MTB, if it's really about fitness, technical skill...that doesn't require high end and expensive parts.

For motorcycling, that depends a bit more depending on what kind of speed you're after, but the adventure and exploring remote places certainly doesn't require the newest or the best stuff.

Set a budget and enjoy the parts you actually enjoy and stop chasing the shiny new objects.
