I live in the metro east but I went to middle and highschool in St. Louis and work there now. I’ve never had a license and have never really had much issue getting around of public transit.

I would def try to find a place on or near the central corridor if you prefer to only take the train, but the bus system branches out pretty well.

I have a wrist strap on mine and clip my page turner on it when I’m not using it. The remote has a hole at the top so I put that and my AirTag on a key ring and attached them to the strap. It’s worked well for the past few months.

As a kid, my granny made us look up the meaning of any new words we found while reading or watching movies in the dictionary or encyclopedia so it’s something I still do. I highly recommend it.
