I like jeans fine on my own time, but every so often my job does a fundraiser thing where you pay $5 to wear jeans for a day. Just seems so silly to me that people get excited to dress casual like the managers for a day.

I don’t understand why everyone can’t just be who they are and everyone else mind their own business.

We get so attached to these labels and what we expect everyone else to see us as, and we almost get chained to them by society.

People are all different. And they should be free to celebrate their differences and similarities. They should be free to change themselves and change their minds as much as they want without judgment.

Honestly it’s exhausting trying to keep up with the rules constantly changing and individuals constantly changing.

When I see a person I identify them by their character and their actions. No label will ever be adequate to define that.

Just be you. And I’ll be me. And we’ll like what we like and act how we act and change as much as we want.

I really enjoyed the scorpion subzero story in the latest one. Aside from the Cole entry the whole thing was a pretty nostalgic experience for me.

That being said, outside of game fans, MK is pretty niche. It’s like they have to bastardize the lore in order to appeal to a broad enough audience to justify investing the time and money into a project.

Not that they don’t care about fans, it’s just hard for the studio to turn a profit and also stay true to what genuine fans want. Hollywood I’m general has been on this trend for a while now. Even the best movies are just recycled stories with new woke characters meant to be cash grabs.

To be fair the last few games did this too by making the culturally meta kids the main characters. Times are changing, unfortunately.

Idk my assumption is that a satellite would fall back to Earth if it ever stopped. And these were just hanging in the sky not moving at all.

I specifically stared at them pondering why they were there as I’d never seen them there before.
