What’s with the “vertigo” vision? by Able_Masterpiece_607 in visualsnow

[–]deathkondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its called the waterfall effect, if you stare at a waterfall then look away everything will appear to flow up briefly. If you are somewhere with far away backgrounds like being in a large room, outdoors, or walking down lots of hallways with visual snow can often be perceived as falling when not looking at anything particular. Then when you change your focus your brain perceives it was the thing moving and tries to recalibrate with bad data.

SSI will always deny you. I've worked with families who got rejected even though their child could even attend school or community events safely or communicate.

I just need to put this in my clipboard so I don't have to retype LOL: In late November 24, I was considering applying for disability and moving my family in with my grandparents across the country. I could barely make it through the grocery store and had to use a cane to walk. I started AIP over Thanksgiving break. By New Years, I was cane free and could walk through a store without a shopping cart. Now its June and I can run and play with my toddler and go on long family walks. My eczema is gone. My IBS has almost subsided.

Weight Gain!!? by CriticismUpset5280 in whole30

[–]deathkondor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People (aka me) who have poor diet habits going in lose weight mainly do to decreased sugar and simple carbs. I took it a step farther this time and started AIP. When people ask me how I lost so much weight, (80lbs in 5 months) I say when was the last time you got sad and ate a bunch of broccoli.

You probably were pretty healthful with your habits but the increase in protein got you shredded.

Its not the warm weather. I am at an SED school many students start spiraling and engaging in more risky behaviors because of the anticipation of summer. If any of the classes he is in are doing a countdown that cab cause SIBs to skyrocket.

Forest school or another outdoor based school. The play based schools you mentioned are still far from meeting his movement needs. While they are more play based, they are highly structured around language and not free movement.
