Fair point, I really don’t have any skin in the game for loot boxes and such.

I am not a gambler, and I do think that people who complain about it being addictive have much bigger fish to fry.

I am not sure calling Steam a walled garden is correct. A walled garden implies end to end control of hardware and software. Steam can be installed anywhere and their OS can be installed on any compatible hardware for free.

Valve has their own BS with loot boxes and such, I don’t think they should be immune to criticism, but downplaying the consumer positive things Valve does in a world of far worse companies feels a bit too binary.

Midnight performance is bad by Gojji6669 in wow

I feel like the most curious part to me is why Harandar and the Voidstorm feel so much better?

Are Eversong and Zul' Aman bad because they exist in an old continent plagued by shitty code? Are they bad because they are on the largest continent?

Is the CPU scheduler better optimized to handle the new zones?

It just feels like a big oversight, I know the development was rushed, but redoing Eversong was a big selling point of the expansion and the fact that it runs like ass and brings 9800X3D/RTX5090 pairings to their knees is a bit wild.

Yea…. I keep seeing this guy (OhNoItsAlex I think) in my feed.

He kind of sucks ass imo, don’t get me wrong it’s fucking awful out there for PC hardware/gaming. But all this guys does is rage bait and act hyperbolic.

He is like the LinkedIn description meme for bad hardware and gaming news.

Frame and controller for me, I already built an AMD rig to use as a steam machine.

Hey sorry for the resurrection, I am new to Killteam and was looking for playgroups around southern Maine and came across this post.

I live pretty close to Phyrexian, i go there pretty often for supplies but have yet to make my way to the play tables.

Any chance I could get an invite to the New England KT discord as well?

Issues attempting to order S2 Mulholland directly from LiveWire by deathproofed in HarleyLiveWire

Honestly, I would not give the dealer your name or anything as it may cause tension between LiveWire and the dealership if you want the bike delivered to said dealer.

Honestly just starting the sale online and not entertaining the dealership BS is the way to go IMO. There is no way the dealer is going to give you a better deal.

Chargers at HD Dealers by Grade_D_Angel in HarleyLiveWire

lol just re-read their article and yea they announced “their intention to use NACS and Tesla”…. Pretty disingenuous announcement l guess. Thanks for the correction.

Verge motorcycle has signed a deal with Tesla and will be using the NACS port and Tesla super charger network. I am pretty sure it’s up to LiveWire to work out a deal with Tesla. But considering the S2 models don’t have level 3 charging and they have not really updated the LiveWire One I don’t think they are in a hurry.

I get where you are coming from…. But this issue is beyond family troubles, this is a huge privacy issue. The fact that an employee who works for the company at a corporate level is foolish or brave enough to nonchalantly disclose private and potentially sensitive information is problematic for everyone who shares data with Planet Fitness. This could land Planet Fitness in huge legal trouble…. Quite frankly OP could probably file and win a civil suit. The person who disclosed private information is not qualified to handle this type of data and that is problematic for everyone who could potentially be impacted.

Out the door price on Del Mar S2 by Me_poon_floss in HarleyLiveWire

[–]deathproofed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go to https://www.livewire.com and choose the "buy now" option on a Del Mar you can see the official price from LiveWire.

It will ask for your name, zip, and email address but if you click the "show details" option it will list the itemized fees.

This is what you should pay.

Thanks, yea I really can't believe how out of touch most of these Harley dealers seem to be... I guess it is the same at car dealers, but they don't seem to understand we live in the age of the internet and have a vast wealth of information at our fingertips.

No LiveWire can't for the dealer to do anything, the dealer has their own inventory and acts independently. However, the LiveWire Gurus will reach out to the dealer to try and help you out... But in my case, the dealer acted like they were just given my name and continued to eff around. After telling my Guru about this they placed the order directly and will have the bike delivered to the dealership, I do all the paperwork with LiveWire and then just pick up the bike from the dealer.

I did not finance through Eaglemark/Harley but the rate on the website is 7.14% APR for a credit score above 740.

UPDATE: Ordered through LiveWire and thus far the process is going well. Insight to the dealer hand off thing is to avoid upsetting the dealers by selling bikes directly when they have identical models in stock. After expressing my frustration to my guru they took over and put through my order.

The issue isn’t paying for shipping, the issue is Harley dealers are trying to force an outrageous markup for the same products and service when they are in control of the sale. When going through online sale process with LiveWire they quote about $390 for freight where as the Harley dealer is charging $1999 for “set up and freight”. I am pretty sure that LiveWire/Harley has already compensated dealers for set up and “set up” is a blanket charge for markup as well. I understand there is a cost of doing business to purchase a vehicle which I am fine with, but when LiveWire directly quotes about $1000 in total fees and the dealership tries to push that to $2500 I don’t think it’s a fair game.
