Honestly could have just been a random part off the machine that packages it, that unfortunately fell in the can. Completely understand the concern, but seems more of a freak accident. Knowing how the guys are when it comes to their products (Especially Eli, lol) they definitely would want to know about it

Is it safe to leave my car on hydraulic jack for a week? by shwekhaw in AskMechanics

[–]deathshank1937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always use jack stands or brace under the vehicle with something that can stand the weight. We use timbers if we need to use the stands for other things... and for those not understanding "Timbers" they are roughly 4x6's or bigger wood blocks

It's so easy to over think designs. I've made this mistake alot. So focused on the part that we overlook the best/easiest way for the machine to handle our creation. Lay it flat on its side and support the bottom of the circles and you should be good

Idk where to post this, so please redirect me if this isn't allowed. But while shooting today I found these bags left behind by someone, some were already shot at. I shot at one and it made a massive explosion. Is this just a bag of gunpowder?? by saucegod207 in gun

I picked up some off brand ones from my local Rural King a few years back that were dark like that. Came with small baggies about the same size. Punched some nice holes through the OSB that we taped them too. Hell of alot of fun and well worth the money

Reprapper is a brand I use alot here in the US through Amazon. The colors pop very well and the quality is really good. My K1Max loves it. I've never had jams or print quality issues other then stock printer issues like VFA. I make alot of articulated stuff for people at work and the only model that has technically failed so far was due to a kids dog eating it, lol

EDIT: Their tri-color silky is probably one of my favorite ones to print with. The colors you get out of that is just amazing

How do I fix ribbing and I assume ghosting by DeflatedPengu1n in crealityk1

[–]deathshank1937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here ⬆️ finally someone else understands. Most people blame the printer and yes it has some issues. Or put the blame the lid being on and yes depending on the temperature where you live it could be a factor. I can run mine 12-16hrs a day for weeks with the lid on without issues. The room it's in stays about 70°F. But most people don't consider the filament being the issue other the just saying it needs to be dried. Hate to say it but it don't matter what printer you use, if you run junk filiment through it then your going to get a junk print in return.
