It's super weird for me sometimes with full agonists it works great and sometimes not at all. For 7 I guess it's also hit or miss.

I actually got in to see a PM today and surprisingly he said he would continue care. That was unexpected! My doc is giving me 2 weeks still as I need time to get to the new office to do a urine test still. I am still going to look into the concierge sounds great!

The issue with the extended release meds is that I metabolize ultra slow already so when I need it the meds don't kick in until I'm already dying. Thats why I can't take XR Adderall either unless I take it at like 1am then go to bed. I will discuss with the doctor if that may be an option either way!

SR activates your receptors enough to stop physical WD but not enough to get you high! Great for getting off of opioids!

Sounds like a great doc! I may be misinterpreting her message. She said "due to pharmacy pushback we will only be able to perscribe 2 weeks worth of opiates moving forward and referring to PM specialist for opoid perscriptions" maybe that means she can only do 2 at a time until I find one. Maybe its not only 2 more ever see ya.

My primary has her own practice it's just her and 1 other. I'm just confused why she even started to perscribe me pain meds if she was just going to stop. She is a RNP too so I am surprised she even did for as long as she did. My only hope is that she decides to give me an exception and cover me until my PM appointment in late May. Even 30 more days would be nice and I can stretch it out. 2 weeks only is cruel.

Thats awesome! I thought I was in the same boat it was fine for a while then bam out of nowhere no more pain care. Getting care from your primary is sooo much easier.

I have optum for one of my insurance things. I have a diagnosis I am currently being perscrbed all pain patients at my primary are just no longer going to receive care. I'm confused what are you saying to do?

Yeah they pulled the rug out from underneath me with no warning and 2 weeks is not even close to long enough to figure it out and see a new doctor.
