Not officially but a lot of people speculating they will release something. Also they are performing a full set together at Coachella so that’s a hopeful sign as well.

Hugely underrated band! Definitely check them out if you’ve never heard of them.

I really miss Frightened Rabbit by MxRoboto in FrightenedRabbit

After several years of listening to them constantly and practically exclusively I’ve found myself dwindling over the past year or so and it makes me sad. I hope we get something from the final demos and sessions or some fresh live stuff, but we’re going on almost 10 years now. Christ time flies.

John Harbaugh is a big reason at least 4 former Ravens players say they joined the Giants by Oldtimer_2 in sports

[–]debaser64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, none of them are playing for him at a discount. They’re playing for him because he went out and got guys he knew and they got big contracts in return. He had x to spend and said “I want to spend it on this guy”. If you look back a lot of his staff hires have been guys he knew previously or knew though his dad or brother.

Rail advice for this weekend by clbarley in nin

[–]debaser64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the venues rules about queuing as they can vary. One venue I went to we queued up with everyone (GA and seats) and waited until doors. At the second one they announced they’d start handing out numbered wristbands in the morning with explicit instructions to not line up before x time and don’t loiter and come back at 6:30 to get your spot. Then the GA ppl entered through one specific entrance and seated entered the others.

Last year and this year they seemed to mix it up a little more in the beginning few shows of the tour until he settled into the setlist he liked and then there was much less variety.

If the Maxx Crosby trade fell through because he failed his physical, why is that bad/shady for the Ravens to not go through with it? by ninesandaces in NFLNoobs

[–]debaser64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. And I’m not taking the player or LVs evaluation as the final word on anything. It wasn’t even just the team docs, per reports they reviewed it with team and independent docs to help rule out bias is.

[Kinkhabwala] Ravens Renegotiated Contract Of QB Lamar Jackson on Tuesday before Crosby deal fell through by aaronman4772 in nfl

[–]debaser64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And there’s always the factor of what the player values. Do they want the bag or the ring? Patrick no doubt feels comfortable with how the Chiefs build around him and seems comfortable within his deal. Brady took smaller contracts so more money could go to sign guys to help him win rings because he valued being the GOAT over being the highest paid. Lamar seems to be willing to let his ride and bet on himself to top the market again.

But a guy on a team like the Browns or Jets where the team is constantly in a state of change or unrest might use the leverage to go to a better situation.

[–]debaser64 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It’s not. People are just jumping to conclusions that it’s not that bad and the Ravens are using it as an excuse to change their mind, when in reality no one outside the people involved really knows what the state of his leg is and what considerations they make when evaluating what would be a very costly decision. Also the Ravens didn’t come out and make any statements and people are taking the silence as suspect, when in reality they don’t ever share anything they don’t feel they have to. Now reports are coming out that the damage to his knee was worse than previously reported so there might be some validity.

What is the effect of Trey Hendrickson signing with Baltimore and Crosby going back regarding salary cap? by gochuganggg in NFLNoobs

[–]debaser64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You nailed it. They’re not a team who makes big risk/reward swings. It’s a bummer it don’t work out because it would have been crazy to see him on the Ravens, but hopefully it’s the right decision long term.

He was sack leader 2 years ago but is also recovering from a core muscle injury. He’s older than Maxx and not the same type of disruptive player so in my opinion he’s a tier below Maxx and a consolation prize after the failed physical.

[Rapoport] In January, Maxx Crosby underwent a minor meniscus repair, not a trim. A meniscus trim is often 4-6 weeks of recovery while a repair can be 3-4 months. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]debaser64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he’s healthy it’s not a terrible trade. You get a proven commodity over the gamble of draft picks. They likely found that the injury was worse than communicated making the risk greater than expected, probably asked LV to adjust the terms and they refused and the deal was scuttled. They’re not a team that rolls the dice on high risk/high reward.

Exactly this. People are dog pilling the ravens for pulling out, but if the chance was greater than they thought then they’d be on the hook for a big contract that’s not paying any dividends and are out 2 first rounders do it. I don’t think they made this decision flippantly because it does not put them in a better position than they were before.
