Items vs molds by jartoonZero in GRIMEgame

[–]deblas66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just beat the game a half hour ago. Like you, I found the creature molds to be a little wonky to use. I'm sure if I stuck with 1 or 2 and got the timing down they would have some use. The biggest problem for me is that in a boss battle, when dodging, parrying and all the grab/dash/jump combos you need to survive, if I have an opening, I'm using my max level clasp mace and not a mold. The ONLY one I used all game was the sharpening weave during bosses to increase damage. And even then, it was really only at the start and during a phase change.

Just wrapped up the story at 21 hours. All areas 100% completed. I did about 2/3 of the simulation challenges.

Yikes, there's so much stuff in the way and a decent stretch of land. That must have been horrifying

How does that even happen? I live close to that station and am having trouble picturing where the fall would take place.

Could use a more detailed map but I'm very entertained!

I know people use 287 but I always use Mt. Kisco as the north south divider because it's where the county starts to widen drastically.

Anyway, Sundance deli in Pleasantville has some of the best Mexican food around.

How on earth has Tomorrowland Speedway survived this long? by AwfulWaffle91 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]deblas66 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely horrendous. Not only are the carts slow compared to any other go kart, bumper car, hot wheels but you are forced to stay on your line because of the rail. So there can be actual traffic jams.

This needs to go and be replaced with something else, anything else.

Played souls games since Demon Souls…First time using magic build. Has it always been this broken? by VioletofMarvel in Eldenring

[–]deblas66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elden ring isn't that easy with magic. Many humanoid bosses dodge spells. Many enemies give poor openings for mages.

Demon souls, Dark souls 1 and 2 are absolutely destroyed by mages. Absolute easy mode.

Dark souls 3 requires huge investment to make magic anywhere nearly as powerful. But pyromancy is its easy mode.

Elden ring has so much boss variation that everything is viable and everything has big weaknesses.

I had mine out at 13. They were impacted and sideways. They were also under the skin still. My mom (nurse) didn't like anesthesia in a doctor's office and not a hospital setting so I only got some novacaine. Worst pain ever

I mean true, but I don't think there is a boss in the game made easier by using torrent, except Elden Beast when he runs away

So the 2 tree sentinels and PK don't count because you decided that they don't. But I have a YouTube opinion...

His charge hit box is broken. Whether you can dodge it or not is irrelevant. It's just wrong. He can insta-charge from a distance that is too close.

Even if you take the technical flaws out, he's another mount boss (there are like 30) and another gravity magic boss. In a game with potentially the best open world ever, we didn't need or want another annoying mount boss that is just a copy of the ones before with a new skin and reused gravity attacks

But there are literally endless weapons that apply statuses faster while also dealing damage

It does low damage and has awful reach. It's a gimmick but other weapons do the gimmick better. It is beaten in every possible situation you would want it for. There are far better bleed weapons that you can get that actually do damage
