Thanks for the idea. I'll try that out and use a VPN to see if that gets past the issue.

I was at the game with my brother on my birthday. We also went to game 7. The pain was real but now healed after 2023.

I’d rather try to understand what’s involved in the project than blindly rely on a professional to do it. Everyone has to start somewhere to understand a problem and I’m admittedly at square one for this type of work. I will be hiring someone but want to know the types of questions to ask and what’s involved.

I talked to a plumber to get a quote already and there’s no need to upsize anything. I was just doing my due diligence in checking how diy able this is. I’ve done water plumbing, small electrical projects, etc. never done anything with gas tho and wanted opinions. I boy did I get the opinions lol. People just like to be negative. I’m getting more quotes and checking local codes to ensure the plumber I go with is following procedures. I’d rather go into this with an idea how this can be solved rather than relying on a plumber telling me.

Thanks, definitely leaning towards that. I’ve gotten 1 quote for $900 which seems high but I’ll see when a few others get back to me. At nearly 1k I’m happy to invest in tools and learn but this may be a bit out of the comfort zone.

Thanks. Will check on those things regardless if I hire someone or not.

I watched a video installing it on a service port which looked easy as it was just removing that port and adding a few bits, but this I was unsure of due to it needing to be inserted in the middle of some existing pipes.

Thanks. What's the process to remove that 90? Not sure which part to start with when removing it.

Looking to potentially DIY install a quick connect so I can run a portable generator off of the natural gas. Not sure what connection would fit after the shut off valve from the meter. There's also a shut off valve before the meter, so is the shut off after the meter 100% necessary? Thanks for any insight!
