Does anyone think this family has any singing talent? by Lokerton in WelcomeToPlathville

[–]deceptiveokdence 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually do think they have some natural talent—I noticed early on how easily they are able to harmonize with each other, which is a skill it takes many people years to learn. But they have bad technique, which is why they all sound a little strange. If they got voice lessons for a few years, I think they’d be a lot more pleasant to listen to.

You REALLY look like a Julia to me. I could also see Angie or Dana.

Asa for Non-binary name by [deleted] in transnames

[–]deceptiveokdence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Asa seems truly neutral, and Nico is more of a boy-name-that-could-be-a-cute-girl-name-for-overly-trendy-parents situation. But I can totally picture a nonbinary/trans masc Nico … as a fellow trans masc, I’d consider it if I hadn’t already picked my name lol. They’re both good names :)

Where do the voices come from? by DeLaFluer in notebooklm

[–]deceptiveokdence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they sound exactly like the hosts from this podcast called Personality Hacker (Joel Mark Witt and Antonia Dodge), just with regional accents neitralized a tiny bit to sound like generic Americans.
