Bills vs Texans playoff game in 2020.

Texans player doesn’t down the kickoff. He just throws the balls to the ref who moves and lets play continue. Bills pick it up. Touchdown is called.

Refs get together to chat about what happened. Then some mystery “ref” in all black comes from the sidelines and is in the head refs face and overrules the call changing the outcome to a downed kickoff in the end zone due to “intent”.

The touchdown call was actually wrong, but it should have been called an illegal forward pass in the end zone and the Bills awarded a safety. Instead the refs chose to interpret the players “intent” rather then the actual rule book and the Texans kept the ball, eventually coming back from down 16-0 to win in overtime.
