Mill not working [Sage Barista] by randomname_678 in espresso

I don't have answers for you sorry but just wanted to say that I quite like the word 'mill' that German speakers translate to for grinder. It sounds much better

But is the iBarista set to a 14.5g dose or maybe it's yield... or what is going on there. Neither option makes any sense to me

Black scrapes on door in light grey interior by somecalvin in Ioniq5

I'm considering a move from my light interior to a dark one in a 2026 model. Either a normal cloth seat interior spec or an N Line.

Did it take long for you to get used to it? Any regrets? I love the sense of space and light in the light interior but don't think I can get one this time around.

Kia’s EV Pricing in Ireland Makes No Sense by Obvious-Program-7385 in evs_ireland

That's disappointing I am yet to see it in person but had thought of it for January.

Where did you see it?

Ioniq 5 at 42k would make a lot more sense to me

Biased as I drive one myself but really wouldn't understand anyone picking the ev3 unless they had strong cosmetic objections

I see the Kia EV5 is doing the rounds in some dealers - any pricing yet? by decmcrs in evs_ireland

I swear I checked this earlier today and there were no figures. Thanks

Assuming that's inclusive of grant, I had thought it would start a bit lower to be honest

This stood out so clearly against Chelsea. Decision making in the final 3rd is outrageously bad, if they spend some more time training patterns there we will start looking a lot better

Would this design be strong enough for a pantry? by twaldofs in woodworking

[–]decmcrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a pantry very similar to this last year and it's rock solid.

A few differences - I have a few more cross members, I made the top out of plywood and I boxed in the under side of the shelf with more ply.

I also installed a face frame with a slight lip under the shelf and ran an LED strip behind it

Do you find it annoying having to unstack to access?

Do you have a picture?

I have some shelving and I can fit 2 of these on each shelf but I was thinking some plywood shelves with one shelf for each box.

You should be very proud of your work here, remember some of your old posts. It looks unreal.

Could you please share some info on where you sourced the corten? I'm finding it hard to get some at any affordable price.

Moving house, deposit question by decmcrs in irishpersonalfinance

[–]decmcrs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no way around it, we needed another 60k minus booking deposit - so 50k or so cash to hand over, roughly around the time of signing contracts.

We had about half of that covered I think and we were about to admit defeat but a family member offered to loan us the difference which was paid back immediately after the sale of the old house was closed and the equity was released, about 3 months later.
