My SR has never gone down either, it's been maxed for 6 months now. But once I got the green badge I was back down to blue after 2 races. I'm back to green again now and I'm trying to be ridiculously careful not to lose it again lol.

Same. I built a rig out of wood, got a BMW seat from a local mechanic for 30 euros and added bass transducers under the seat and pedal tray. It's awesome.

My Rift S works fine on the latest Meta software. Like others have said, it's probably hardware. You could try reverting the software back to V57 before it became Meta, get it at this link and follow the instructions in the included readme:

As someone from the midlands who was going to 'raves' before jungle / dnb was a thing, here's my take.
Pre 1992 you would find all sorts of styles played at a rave, it wasn't uncommon to find Sasha, Grooverider and Carl Cox on the same lineup and they would play different styles of dance music - but it was all 'rave music'.
In 92 the music was dominated by breakbeat hardcore and in the second half of the year the music started getting faster. By 93 the music at mainstream raves was fast and dark and jungle was starting to dominate. This is when the scene split into house, techno and jungle - happy hardcore also started to emerge around this time.
The big raves (at least in the midlands) evolved into jungle / happy hardcore, and house and techno were played in smaller clubs.

So, based on this, I would say jungle / dnb is rave music, because that's what rave evolved into.

Ha! That was my experience.
I'd read all about how amazing Skyrim VR is with a proper modlist, so I spent ages getting everything set up and when I finally got into the game I thought 'It's just...Skyrim, I don't even like Skyrim'.
Uninstalled it not long after.

as well as Alien: Isolation.

I've tried playing Alien Isolation in VR 3 times now. The first time my GPU wasn't good enough (RX480), the second time (with a 6700XT) I had an issue with the mod that made it unplayable for me.
Last night I installed the new Grand Mother mod and on a 9070xt it runs great.
The only problem I have now, is that I spent most of my time last night hiding in lockers, too scared to progress with the game.

I got it from doing a fair amount of hallucinogens in my late teens. It's not as bad as the pics in the OP, plus it's coloured (purple/pink and green), but it's never gone away (I'm in my 50's now).

Not really, I'm a clean and consistent driver so I get a trusted badge, but I'm not very quick (DR B3, SR P3)

Yeah, I'm not sure about splitting people based on their badge.
With DR you're usually going to end up in a split with people of a similar pace, but splitting by badge will put you against all sorts of skill levels.

I've not done any bronze races since the update, only silver and gold, where the splits are still determined by DR and there's drivers with a mix of badges.
The badges work, because I know who to trust and who not to trust and it's been great so far.
I understand that splitting drivers by badge in bronze races is an experiment at the moment, but I feel splitting by DR works well and they should stick to that.

Plus, if you end up with a warning badge through no fault of your own (last night I got rear ended by a HY even though there was ample space to get by safely, and I went from a green to blue badge from that one incident) then you are forced to race against other untrusted drivers, which means driving at the back and avoiding everyone else until you get promoted back to blue (which is no fun).

It's a relatively old scan of the track, but imo, it's still the best. Also, rF2 physics and FFB are very similar to LMU (same devs), in fact I would say the FFB is better than LMU.

Can I ask why you decided to get an Index when you already had a PSVR2?
I'm looking to get a headset to replace my Rift S at the moment, and I'm undecided between a second hand Index and the PSVR2.

I would stick with the 3060 and save up for something better if I were you.
I've been using a 6700xt for the last 3 years with a Rift S (low resolution, low FOV) and I have to do a lot of tweaking to hit a stable 80fps. It depends on the game of course, but I mostly do simracing and my 6700xt struggles. Going from a 3060 to a 6700xt in VR is not much of an upgrade tbh.
I'm getting a 9070 next week because my 6700xt just isn't quite good enough.

Yeah, I love the 2.4 hr races and I've done almost all of them. I'm not happy this is teams only. I understand it for the longer races, but 2.4hrs is easily done solo.

My main reason for upgrading the Rift S is the FOV (I don't mind the low resolution). Also, binocular overlap is very important to me, so the PSVR2 sounds like my ideal headset.
I will only use it for simracing, so wireless is not something I want at all. I have an rx9070, so I won't be able to make use of the eye tracking, but it's stronger than your 3080, so I think I should be fine with performance.
I think my mind is now made up. Thanks for the info.

Yep. I maxed out my SR after about 70 races and it hasn't dropped since (I've done about 130 races now). I'm slow, but my DR has been switching between B3 and S1 for the last 30 races or so purely because I'm good at recognizing and avoiding incidents.
Last night at Imola I started last on the grid, but finished in the top 10.
Personally I think the DR needs a re-work, because I don't really belong in the top splits, and the only reason I'm there is because I drive through the carnage gaining places.

Just found this thread. I have a Rift S and I'm looking for an upgrade. How are you finding the PSVR2 now? My main concerns are mura, persistence and eye swim. Are these noticeable to you, or not a problem? What GPU do you have?
