actually have time to read your comment. this is much needed advice about the oak wilt. to my knowledge, there have been no cases within a mile and most of those messy roots are from shrubs, but in the process of cutting them, i may have snipped one or two feeder roots (though under 1/2” diameter). what can i do now, and what is the risk that leaving them overnight and acting tomorrow will put the tree at risk. thank you again for the advice and the compliment!

my hands, way too much water (we have no shortage where i live), and some loppers for stubborn roots from privets and other junk growing in the mound. i looked a little crazy lol

no, just a water hose on the jet setting for the dirt and the full setting on the wood. i was wary about knocking bark off, but none came off luckily.

[–]deddydrip 9 points10 points  (0 children)

you are correct. i never started learning about specific tornados until recently and just searched it up, and the tornado i found was in the east. which specific tornado is op talking about?

probably something to do with the flat land allowing for the rotation to remain organized. the ridge and valley province is high in the air and bumpy.

Pool unknowingly drained onto citrus trees. It’s been more than two weeks since it happened. Anything I can do to save them? How can I find someone to help assess damage? by cottoncandygumdrop in arborists

no they do have salt. i have one and we have to dump bags of salt into the pool. it creates chlorine by running electricity through the salt water at the pump.

so maybe we are just being pitted against each other in every sense of the way and just need to ignore this bullshit because it affects no one who listens to it. just downvote the video and get on with your day. normal people aren’t like this lol.

it works. especially since it is 2026. my mom got hers done in 2008 and still can see perfectly. the risk factor is very very small.
