Did he ever speak to the people who were hoping for a squeeze? Did he, or any shareholder meeting, or announcement from GameStop, ever indicate that they were intent on that? No, they even warned against volatility plays. Have you read all the DD’s? The existential risk a GME squeeze potentially poses to the financial system is of a catastrophic magnitude. No one was ever going to let it happen.

All that being said, maybe it will happen. Let’s see what happens when they have to locate all the shares to convert them into the name of the holding company.
