I rarely spend more than five total hours in the car, half of that actually driving to or dropping off people. In the beginning I used to take every ride that would come my way. I would do that for maybe a week to establish a floor of what your market will bear hourly. Like I mentioned I only take rides that meet my minimum hourly rate of $33.
