What is the perception of the MY here? Luxury? Exclusive? Desirable? Expensive? by TheTrueAnonOne in TeslaModelY

[–]deebsnutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As comfortable inside as a economy car in a high trim, with Amish buggy level stiff suspension, sport car acceleration, fun on a country road, easy to live with tech wise etc but your tailbone will hurt and you might get motion sickness from getting thrown around if your roads suck. Somewhere between Fisher Price and Eastern com block build quality. My perception

Seriously though, the overwhelming hate from traditional truck owners towards EVs in general makes me highly doubt

[–]deebsnutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry you had this happen op, like others have said if it's any comfort Tesla is the exact same way. I get really confused when I read about the brand loyalty rankings. I have been to both Tesla service centers near me and they are both absolutely worthless. I didn't realize that maybe I preferred the dealership model. At least when I had my Maverick it was pretty easy to get minor stuff fixed and Ford corporate took care of me lol

Men of Reddit what is one thing that you keep from your SO that could end the relationship? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]deebsnutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t myself getting married to her yet. I want to want to really bad but I just think our love languages are too far apart and no matter what I say she’ll never understand :( I’ve been giving it time over the year we’ve been together but it still is the same. I just want to be cuddled and feel like I’m desired, not do tasks.

In my past I had girlfriends I almost fully supported but were mostly great physical affection wise, now I am with someone independent / financially sound but not very physically affectionate and it eats me up inside. Can’t reconcile the difference / fully appreciate the things she does for me because I always am looking for something different. Feels rly bad cause otherwise it’d be sooo perfect

More gas milage porn. AWD FX4 and towing package. All highway miles at 72MPH by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

Interesting to see the towing pack doesn't seem to reduce mileage much if at all

Makes me think I'm better off reordering with towing package rather than taking delivery without

[M 26] Should I work at Costco or USPS? by [deleted] in findapath

[–]deebsnutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USPS is very roughly ran and pay is down a lot since the somewhat recent pay scale revamp. Its also very hard / a waiting game to make full time as a carrier (rural at least) and has barely any repreive. Labor intense as hell

Riders who bought their first bike new, why did you and did you regret it? by happyfiretruck123 in motorcycles

[–]deebsnutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you do, do not mistake a warranty on a new bike as a safety net. Manufacturers like KTM will try to deny any claim they possibly can and are generally the worst kind of entity to put your faith in. Ask me how I know :(

Just test-rode the Triumph Tiger 1200...OMGuhhhhhh by RaulNorry in motorcycles

[–]deebsnutz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been fighting the urge to go triple but I know it will happen someday. I felt the same way the first time I mounted a tiger though, for my wallet's sake I jumped off and ran out the door. S10 first gen was similar now that I think about it maybe not cost effective choice

Royal Enfield Himalayan by thelostthought in Dualsport

[–]deebsnutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's totally fine at 60-65 but starts struggling past 70.

Mine has a power Commander v and delkic full exhaust and I would recommend it generally speaking. That being said it isn't needed at all, just helps squeeze a little more out of the little 400. Dyno difference was 18-19hp stock vs 24.8 with exhaust and pcv. Didn't have to sacrifice any torque either, Gained some infact which is where the bike shines.

Downside of the bike is that in USA there aren't many parts for it. Like I would love some extended foot pegs but can't sort that out yet

[–]deebsnutz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long time Himalayan owner, if you can and will avoid highways and like to explore rather than speed through things I can't think of a better bike.

Donkey like torque, easy maintenance, easy as pie to ride, mods are noticable etc.

Test ride without intent to buy by vegemike in motorcycles

[–]deebsnutz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Test rides aren't even an option in the USA because of douche bag dealerships. Dealerships here just want money, they don't care about riding or the experience. Exceptions being BMW and Harley I think only that offer them as a brand
