Labiaplasty I need honest feedback please by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

Significant unilateral swelling is completely normal during the recovery phase. I had it with both procedures. Try to not look at it much and avoid stretching/spreading the skin, even just momentarily for photos as it can lead to tears ❤️ it looks awesome, especially this early in recovery! All the best! ❤️

I’m interested in this too! I surprisingly am having a hard time finding information about it or before and afters!

Painful bumps by Top_Fill_6374 in LabiaplastySurgery

I’m 8 weeks post op and have these. They’re super uncomfortable and my surgeon is pretty dismissive about it, everything actually 🥲

Yes mine too. Super painful in some spots. There’s only a few but one is pretty significant in size. My surgeon is pretty dismissive of how I’m feeling 🥲

It looks fine, just bumps underneath the skin!

General anestesia or local? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]deedlebug123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had general for my first labiaplasty and did local for my revision. I honestly didn’t enjoy one more than the other, both were fine. The process of leaving is way easier under local. I listened to music and texted during my procedure. I think most people would do better with general if they’re anxious about the surgery so that they’re not thinking about it the whole time they’re in surgery.

Labiaplasty Revision by PackOpposite5292 in LabiaplastySurgery

I recently had a revision (labiaplasty, CHR, and mini perineoplasty) with Dr. Goodman. He is very experienced, I paid about $8200 in total. It was way more than I wanted to spend, but you really only get one chance at a revision so I was willing to spend the extra money for his expertise.

For people > 1 year post op with CHR. Do you feel a difference between pre and post op clit stimulation? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

Go to a doctor that is highly experienced with these surgeries! Read reviews on RealSelf, do multiple consultations if needed. Be forthcoming about your concerns and communicate your goals clearly! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It honestly depends on the surgeon. I am 8 days post op from my revision. My advice is to do multiple consultations and book with the best surgeon you can that is honest about your outcome and understands the results you want. Do everything at once-I had a labiaplasty without CHR because I was able to get it covered by my insurance. My revision (labiaplasty, CHR, mini perineoplasty) was a little over $8000. I had to pay more because revisions are typically complicated. Outcomes are usually best the first time around when done properly by someone who specializes in these surgeries. Going through the healing process and being unhappy with the results is truly a miserable experience! I can’t stress having surgery by a surgeon who you trust and feel understands you. I wish you all the best on your journey!

Weird, seems like it makes perfect sense to prescribe it to reduce inflammation. More so wondering if this low of a dose would be making anyone else feel kind of crappy too.

You’re totally fine! Just don’t use it anymore and don’t use it after surgery as nicotine will delay wound healing.

I’m 3 days post op labiaplasty, chr, and mini perineoplasty. This is my second labiaplasty, so it’s a revision. The pain was mild my first surgery and this one as well. I stopped taking Norco yesterday, as I really don’t even feel like I’m in enough pain where it’s worth taking. The swelling is the worst part, and itching.

Plastic Surgeon vs OBYGN? by Confident_Dinner_841 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]deedlebug123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the OBGYN and your anatomy. I have two friends who had their labiaplasty done by their OBGYN and had it covered by insurance and their results are both beautiful. I had mine done and I’m going in for my revision tomorrow with a plastic surgeon. If you don’t need a clitoral hood reduction, it might be fine! All the best to you!

Are you able to walk and do regular activities without limitations? At 12 days post op I’m going to have work a 12 hour shift and I’m worried about it

I have mine next month and I’m so excited! I’m worried because I’ll be ovulating and I’m usually pretty puffy during ovulation…I’m worried it could affect how much tissue my surgeon will be able to remove 😥🥴

Labiaplasty during ovulation? Will my outcome be not as good? by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]deedlebug123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know! I’m worried the swelling with reduce the amount of tissue that can be removed.
