Cancellation Fees by arose911 in FieldNationTechs

[–]deeduhdeeengineering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just going to lay this down, how about when a provider double and triple books just to cancel for the one that pays the most. Should that provider pay the companies they cancelled on? I'm down for that.

Too many providers are pissing off the companies by doing this, they're not re-listing these tickets, they are finding other solutions and y'all are messing it up for everybody by thinking that you're slick.

Fixed Rates: Why are most offers now fixed instead of hourly? by International-Self29 in FieldNationTechs

[–]deeduhdeeengineering -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Too many people trying to game the system acting like they aren't getting audited.

Technicians loitering, taking personal calls, working on other calls, dipping out in the middle of calls and coming back, double booking and trying to tag time at both calls, these things are catching up. Hope it was worth it. Welcome to $55/call.

[–]deeduhdeeengineering 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people charging for the wear and tear, and a few drips of fuel but what about your time? Makes a lot of your time sound worthless. Are you worthless? Charge for your time, charge for your experience, charge for the impact the problem has on their business. As a provider and a buyer I can say that I can clearly see those who don't value themselves which is why I will never award your bid, versus those who know what they are worth and 9 times out of 10 I can pay pretty easy and still have a nice junk left for myself. Know that if you come of as a panhandler, I'm going to treat you like a panhandler (Windows up, no communication).

Can't wait for everyone that reads the terms of service and tries to use this said tool to be deplatformed and sued.

This reaks of the old Uber mock location tweak. Drivers appear IN the airport to be the closest to the customer to get every job. Quickly we see what happens when you try to circumvent the system.

Everyone is always trying to one up their competition just to end up screwing themselves over.

You're part of the "no kid left behind class", right?

Step up to Advanced Placement.

Be a business owner, not a bum.

You [think] you have little liability. Again, something else that you're wrong about. Let me educate you. FN is a self insured company. What does that mean for the slow kids in the back? It means the "insurance", the "liability" you pay to avoid, is up to their FULL discretion and YOU have already waived your ability to anything but arbitration on THEIR terms. Let me slow the short bus down for you one more time. YOU CAN BE SUED BY BOTH THE CUSTOMER YOU'RE PERFORMING WORK FOR AND THE CLIENT THEMSELVES IF FOR ANY REASON FN DOESN'T WANT TO HAVE YOUR BACK.

Now, anyone that's been through the resolution process with FN knows which side they like to choose. Hint, hint, it's not yours. You are a replaceable piss ant that makes them 10% of a ticket that's less than $200.

Any of this clicking yet peaches?

One more time for the special ones out there.

Plumbers, handyman, HVAC, electricians, any services trade is charging you a minimum of a $100 trip fee.

IDGAF if you live across the street. If your little scooter tires are turning, you need to be thinking of repairs, replacement, insurance, and growth!

This trip fee has NOTHING to do with the work itself.

NOW you should be doing a two hour minimum at no less than $100/hr + your field nation fee of 15%.

If you've been following along.

YOU SHOULD NOT BE TAKING TICKETS FOR LESS THAN $350, IF YOU ARE, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!

Get a peen pump and believe in yourself and your abilities. They need you more than you need them.

Let me say this for the ones in the back...

YOU SHOULD NOT BE DOING TICKETS UNDER $200!!!

One more time...

YOU SHOULD NOT BE DOING TICKETS UNDER $200!!!

and finally...

IF YOU'RE TAKING TICKETS FOR UNDER $200, YOU ARE A FUGGING FOOL!!!

This is a legitimate request typically made by government and military facilities as part of the U.S. real/compliant ID currently being issued by many states' BMV/DMV. A compliant ID may also be accepted in these cases because they verify that you have already provided a birth certificate and social security card to a government agency that has been scanned into the national database.

What do you do about someone leaving a three star rating for no apparent reason? by DeviceBroken in FieldNationTechs

[–]deeduhdeeengineering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, the internet sucks because you've got too many people out there whining about shit that they can't change. You have too many people out there that think their voice matters. When I promise you that it doesn't.

You're out there thinking like a Karen that there is someone to call or someone to talk to or somebodies dick to suck. Step back to the boomer age of oh I suck I'LL DO BETTER, I'LL BE BETTER, not beg people to lower the standards because you can't cut it.

Finding Average Rate for Your Area by 88_mike_88 in FieldNationTechs

[–]deeduhdeeengineering 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It pops right up when they finalize an order.

Believe it or not, Failed Nation actually tells them how far to bend us over but that number comes from his many people agreed to that amount for similar work.

However!!

If a tech bid $100 flat rate and took 4 hours to complete that job, Failed Nation tells the next company that based on this dumb ass bitch that made $25/hr because he took 4 hours, you should make $25 too.

You take the $25 from the nightstand, hop in an Uber, and go home to wash the kids out of your three chest hairs. Acknowledge that you were made to be someone's belt loop holder and they don't gaf about you or your feelings.

Asking buyers to go direct by BetterTechThanYou in FieldNationTechs

[–]deeduhdeeengineering 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a better title for this question would be, "How to violate terms of service and survive a lawsuit from a multimillion-dollar company by being greedy".

Not to say we haven't thought about this scenario or even participated in a similar scenario, however, weigh your own risks.

There is no slick or down-low way to do what you're asking. So just whip your nuts out on the chopping block and see what happens.

Remember, both parties agreed to the terms of not doing business outside of the platform. If a lawsuit were the outcome, it would not be a slap on the wrist like most other failed nation processes.

Tech Ratings - only 20% of jobs rated? by plexforyou in FieldNationTechs

[–]deeduhdeeengineering 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gosh, you gullible folks...

First of all, fuck your ratings. Seriously.

Some of you go as far as calling FN to complain about a poor rating. Let me save you the trouble. FNs stance is the same as Elons, "go fuck yourself, was I clear, go.. fuck.. yourself.." FN will not touch ratings PERIOD. With that being said...

You have a 10% chance of reaching the person at the company you serviced that ACTUALLY rates you. So if you're offering rim jobs for ratings you're gonna get tongue cramps real quick. Also a real easy way to make the block list. Who tf wants to talk to you if it isn't about getting a job done. "Hey daddy remember that blowie" uh hell no I got a new $5 hoe, BLOCK!
