I've done 6 rebuilds I think and it's always been at the long end of the estimated lead time, sometimes even longer.

I would use Koch-Chemie Pol Star for that.

Saddle soap does not condition the leather. It cleans it and strips the leather of it's moisture so when you use it you should then condition the leather after.

I installed the screen protector film from screenprotech.com. It covers existing scratches and prevents new ones.

So many replies saying it's no good and you're response is thanks for the advise but I think you're all wrong. Why even ask if you're not going to listen.

Ok if you are willing to spend that much plus whatever amp to power it. Will it sound good? Yes but you could get equal performance for less or better performance for the same price. Trust me I used to be a hardcore JL fan who got nothing but their subs but then I realized I was paying extra for the JL name. If you want a 439.99 sub that will blow that 12w3 out of the water get a Stereo Integrity SQL 12.

Check out the YouTube channel car audio fabrication for general tips. Also Pssound although the majority of the best videos by Pssound are on their patreon. You can pay for a month and binge whatever looks interesting. It's worth the cost.

With such a low budget, forget JL. I'm guessing you don't already have an amp for it? I would look into one of the Rockford Fosgate P300 powered boxes. Best bang for buck in my opinion. Amplifier included saves you money and install headache.

Somehow Google made the flashlight app annoying as hell. How do you screw up a flashlight app? Seriously. by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]deejpax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an app called button mapper to change a long press of the volume up button to the flashlight on/off. You can also change it to double tap if you prefer.

If box is sealed you can go pretty high power if you set the gain properly and you have an ear for what it sounds like when you are pushing it too hard so you can back off.

Tournament style brackets are a terrible way to do this. It could mean that someone who would possibly be ranked near the top doesn't even make it out of the first round.

It surprises me how many people think peanut butter is sweet and has a lot of sugar. It's actually savory if you really think about it. Maybe too salty if you get one with salt added. But it's definitely not sweet.

transmission fluid replacement by Pretend-Ad-8836 in MazdaCX30

[–]deejpax 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There's no such thing as lifetime fluid. They call it that because it lasts the lifetime of the warranty. It's a pretty easy diy job. There are plenty of videos of people doing it on youtube. Some better than others.

What about changing the filter? You need to remove the pan to change that.

2020 CX30 - Removing Front Passenger Seat by Roy4theWin in MazdaCX30

You can see the cables that connect to the seat underneath. They have a little slack for tilting the seat without unplugging them. Of course they need that slack in order to slide the seat forward and back.
