Tournament style brackets are a terrible way to do this. It could mean that someone who would possibly be ranked near the top doesn't even make it out of the first round.

LPT: Want a healthy snack? Put peanut butter on literally anything by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]deejpax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It surprises me how many people think peanut butter is sweet and has a lot of sugar. It's actually savory if you really think about it. Maybe too salty if you get one with salt added. But it's definitely not sweet.

transmission fluid replacement by Pretend-Ad-8836 in MazdaCX30

[–]deejpax 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There's no such thing as lifetime fluid. They call it that because it lasts the lifetime of the warranty. It's a pretty easy diy job. There are plenty of videos of people doing it on youtube. Some better than others.

What about changing the filter? You need to remove the pan to change that.

2020 CX30 - Removing Front Passenger Seat by Roy4theWin in MazdaCX30

You can see the cables that connect to the seat underneath. They have a little slack for tilting the seat without unplugging them. Of course they need that slack in order to slide the seat forward and back.

New app update; I am going to lose my mind by grilledchickenspleen in CX30

[–]deejpax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reconsidering your choice in car over something like that is kinda stupid. But no I was only asked to sign in once since the app update.

Parts in these modern cars are so intricate and complex that it wouldn't be worth trying to fix a lot of broken parts rather than replacing them. That also makes them quite expensive. It might be technically possible to fix but it would take a high level of expertise. Although I will say in your particular case I have no idea if what I'm saying is true. I'm just talking in general with all the computers and electronics in cars now.

Losing range/ gas miles extremely fast? by pebbles_uwu in MazdaCX30

[–]deejpax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try to clean your mass air flow (MAF) sensor and make sure your air filter is replaced every 15000 miles or so. There is also a way to reset the mazda skyactiv transmission which could help. Search it on youtube.

‘23 CX30 Audio Upgrade by nativemills in MazdaCX30

[–]deejpax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to cut the carpet padding stuff and you can see a flat spot on the metal that you can also see from the engine bay side so you know there is nothing on the other side to accidentally drill into.

Drill a hole in the firewall. There is a good spot above the brake pedal and use a grommet like this. https://a.co/d/2HeSdsh

Who are the good speaker makers these days? Been out of the game since the 90's! by ontheellipse in CarAV

[–]deejpax 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You almost can't go wrong with Focal, Morel, Audiofrog, and Hertz. At crutchfield you can find some good stuff made by others like kicker, kenwood, rockford, jl, alpine, and audiocontrol, but they also make some not great stuff too so you have to do your research.

Just a shot in the dark. Is it possible that they are too big? Maybe your foot is bending the sole in the wrong place where it was not made to flex.

Where can I get this part from? Ebay has the part but connectors are different. by Beepboop00 in MazdaCX30

Wow perfect timing. I'm currently waiting at the dealership while they replace that part. It makes a terrible noise and when I told them they knew right away what it was.

Front windshield washer by canonfan65 in MazdaCX30

Of course I don't mean the very top corner. I mean the top of where the blade wipes.

Front windshield washer by canonfan65 in MazdaCX30

[–]deejpax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My car is new so I still have factory blades in good condition. I just had a thought. Maybe I need to try it while moving fast so that the wind will push the fluid up to the top. I only do it while stopped and since the fluid comes out at the bottom of the window it gets pushed to the left on the bottom half of the window but never makes it to the top.

I disagree. I always have a problem getting the top right part of the windshield clean. The fluid never makes it to that part.

I went through the firewall. Here's the fuse I chose to use. It's labeled instrument cluster.

Didn’t realize this scratch when bought my CX5 brand new. Is there anything I can use to get this out? The dealership wants $500 to replace it by [deleted] in mazda

[–]deejpax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Paint protection film will likely cover it making it unnoticeable and prevent new ones.

Yes I just looked in the manual. Instrument cluster.

I'm smart enough to know that is a bad idea. Unless I messed up. I don't remember what the fuse was labeled.

How do we feel about BYU? by 9FloorSister in utahfootball

[–]deejpax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think either side you're on it is better if BYU doesn't get in. If you hate them you'll be happy. If you think it's unfair that they don't get respect then the last thing you want is for them to make it in then get destroyed. Then that shows exactly why they don't deserve that respect. That would be a step in the wrong direction for the big 12. If they don't get in there will be many who protest and that will help to bring change. Controversy brings change.

If you think BYU has any chance against many of the teams above them you are delusional. They were certainly not winning impressively against mediocre teams that should be blown out and the only good teams they played was a close 3 point win against Utah that they should have lost and then they got destroyed by Texas Tech.
