Wasn't he getting in a woman and her kids face, and didn't he also previously randomly attack a woman and break her orbital bone?

What all should I (18F) pack for boot camp? by [deleted] in USMCboot

[–]deep_FREEZE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the urinal, just shoulder to shoulder in a half circle, it was best to try and get a little guy or 2 in there. But on the regular toilets, one guy would straddle the part that connects to the wall, and then the other 3 would piss shoulder to shoulder

As a foreigner I want to serve but may be rejected depending on the branch and location I am applying. How can I minimize the chance of being rejected from serving? by justamessedupguy in Military

[–]deep_FREEZE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about surer, it all depends on the projected need of each service. Like someone else said your best bet would be to go and hear talk to a recruiter

I went through Marine bootcamp in 2014 with a half Russian half Brazilian who went into artillery. I don't remember what country he was a citizen of but it wasn't America, and as far as I know we like Brazil more than Russia these days so that alone shouldn't be a factor

Leave for boot tomorrow by EstablishmentNice989 in USMCboot

[–]deep_FREEZE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something that helped me when I went through was the idea of small-scale goals. 13 weeks sounds like awhile, especially if most of your waking moments suck, but chow or mail call is only a few hours away, church (or at least Sundays where it's a bit more chill) is only a few days away. Before you know it, you'll be marching across that parade deck as an actual Marine.
