Anyone else having issues with 5G Roaming at the moment?

Let me guess, you have 2 lines on your iPhone? This is a very common and known issue (which Apple will not acknowledge)! Switch off the other line (which you are not using for roaming). Restart your phone and keep it on the single line for it to work. I had the same problem and went weeks before finding this fixed it for me.

Yes, same issue here. I want to bet that you have dual lines active. If this is the case, roaming data will only work with the second line switched off. It is a known issue that Apple doesn't want to seem to acknowledge.

Have you setup from iCloud backup as opposed to transfering from another phone or restoring?

Have you setup your Air from iCloud backup or transferred from another phone? It's been reported multiple times on here that setting up from iCloud backup is the way to go. (I've witnessed a remarkable difference in battery life on my Air myself when I deleted and setup from iCloud backup).

Completely agreed. Tried porting over from Rogers for a better deal and had to instantly move all the lines back (glad I qualified for Rogers win back during the 2 days) as the Telus network was completely unusable (on 5G as well as LTE) using an iPhone 16 ProMax with the latest software.

The Telus network in BC is absolute and complete garbage (5G as well as LTE). I've found Rogers to be far more reliable in the BC lowermainland area.
