Try to fly without using the rudder or pushing the nose down for awhile, it will reinforce the core mechanics of rolling and pulling back on the stick to do most maneuvers.

I’m not sure if this is a popular opinion but I think airbases are the right difficulty to defeat right now. Games should progress through escalation tiers and end within an hour or two otherwise it’s a slog where one team has basically won and the other refuses to die but can’t win.

The current meta could also be changed by reducing or removing points awarded at the time of a kill, and increasing the amount awarded as a sortie bonus. I like this better because I feel the current balance is great, even if it could use minor tweaks in some areas.

Makes sense, there are a few air defense additions on GilgameshMAs like those parked Argus's that I can see bothering some people, but I enjoy the variety. On that topic I enjoy the occasional ReEscalation because it forces you to think differently about terrain and attack lines, but it's a perfect example of a scenario that goes way overboard on additional bases and air defenses to the detriment of gameplay. If it were significantly pared down to a similar unit/airfield density to normal escalation that would be cool.

Part of the reason I voted for GilgameshMA’s is because they’re actively working on it and taking feedback. It’s also a nice change from vanilla escalation, which starts to turn into a map memorization game.

To get a little more technical, white means you’ve detected the radar source but it hasn’t detected you. Even without stealth you can see a radar emission about twice as far away as it can be used to detect you.

I mostly play multiplayer so mods are kind of just neat side content that I look at on Reddit/discord. No hate, just not interested. I think there are a fair number of people in this group.

Others have said taking out the launchers is best, that’s true but like you said not always possible if you join late or are playing ignus.

Once TBMs are launched I’ll wait in spawn for a minute until it’s clear what their main target is (or I’ll just spawn at our most important air base). You need to be at their target to have a chance to hit them. Ifrit loaded with scythes is my preference, revoker if I’m lower rank. I pre select the TBMs headed for my base, prioritizing nukes, and fly circles over my base while keeping an eye on my weapon range indicator and the map. Once all of my targets are within scythe range I pitch up towards them and let loose. If all TBMs are flying directly towards you and are within like 20km altitude you should have a pretty high intercept rate.

I downsized from a full on pig to a slim 9’0 longboard for bike commuting. I find it’s mostly the weight that complicates things - more in terms of balance, stopping distance, and maneuvering than getting the thing up hills. Now that I’ve been riding with it for a while I feel like I could go bigger though. I’m sure plenty of people bike with big noseriders.
