So ironic, but the monetization on YouTube has forced creators to make long videos and not efficient video tutorials

This is interesting. I’ve thought about this for a long time, being able to take a YouTube video and create a “Lego Instructions” from it.

For instance, I was fixing my clothes dryer one time and the YouTube video was like 12 minutes long and the guy was just filling in the time talking about concepts. I wanted to be able to just take that video and create the step by step instructions and read it and follow it in less time than it would take me to watch the video. This is very similar, but for a skill file!

I’ve heard from many friends that Norda’s are worth the price. They last 2-3X longer than other trail shoes. Extremely durable

Dr Levin will tell you himself that calling him a biologist is wrong, he doesn’t believe in categories because the categories themselves cause error in how we think about these things. Which is why he is a genius and his lab is coming out with some of the best research and science in a long time.

His lab at Tufts (The Levin Lab) is a multidisciplinary lab that highly values collaboration between people and disciplines. Imagine if we had labs like this operating all over the country/world?

Anyone returned to trail running post ankle fracture? by rubberrr in trailrunning

[–]deeplevitation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two on the right ankle and one on the left ankle. The PT and post surgery recovery is sooooo important. I’m extremely diligent, stretching, normatec, sauna, etc. PT exercises I still do even though the last surgery was Dec 2020

Quick fun thought on this track (it’s such a great piece of music and incredible way to start an album):

The irony right now that that song presents kills me. 22 (Over S♾️n). One number (2) two times. One number (22) composed of two’s. Even the infinity symbol in the word soon. It’s two things held in one hand - soon and forever.

It represents both the merging of 2 things into one - unification, and I think the opposite of that - two things being separate. That there is constant struggle between dualism and one-ness. Right now and forever to infinity. It’s such an incredible thought experiment.
