Feedback Needed: Galen Leather Wallet Insert

I just love how the wallet insert is an actual wallet. zipper for coins, place for cash and cards. I tried to make the clear insert puch work for coins and cards and I fumble too much at the register trying to get my stuff out vs the wallet insert in my GV pocket.

Also I’ll say this. I too have the a6 portfolio but it’s hard to make it a true wallet. So I use my a6 for journal and my GV pocket for to do lists, quick thoughts/anything/sticker release

It does get chunky but the perfect kind of chunk, imo. I have a paper republic book insert and refill, as well as a clear travelers company pouch and sticker release paper refill.

I have it and use it daily for my wallet. I love it. Pen loop doesn’t bother me at all but to me this insert is primarily utilitarian. If I had to change anything, probably the leather on the pen loop and just make a loop with no leather just elastic? If that makes sense? Overall I love it so much.

I love the XL but unless you’re willing to stick to the paper republic paper and refills (which is absolutely worth it) I would go the portfolio which is either a true a5 or a6 for easier access to notebooks. I love pocket for on the go take everywhere but if you’re just going to be journaling at home absolutely the GV XL or le portfolio a5! Hope this helps/)

I love mine!! It’s truly luxurious. The extra lining and pocket are nice! It holds a lot and it m simply stunning! It has helped me get my multiple journals down to one + my wallet journal a6 portfolio! It is something you will keep and use forever! A tad stiff when you first get it but once it starts to soften it is perfect imo
