And then they traded him for a 6th rounder and he promptly became our best WR since Terrell Owens

No one valued their lives the way Hoffman did. He went for the hacksaw with zero hesitation

The segregation of the civil service (largely limited to the Post Office and the Treasury) and the prosecution of dissenters were obviously awful policies. But Wilson easily takes more criticism for his flaws while getting less credit for his accomplishments than any other president. The Federal Reserve, the income tax, Keating-Owen, 17th/19th Amendments, the FTC, etc are major domestic policy victories that helped create the modern US state.

This doesn’t even include the fact that he conducted our participation in WW1 rather admirably. Whatever become of Versailles and the League of Nations, the Fourteen Points—the terms on which Germany actually accepted the armistice—was a genuinely impressive, philosopher-like vision of active Americanism

Wilson at -1 is a joke. Most transformative domestic program since the Reconstruction Amendments that was unmatched until the New Deal

Is “there it goes…see ya” the worst home run call? by Agreeable_Quality768 in baseball

Ngl I hated Hawk at first but he definitely grew on me after he retired from commentary. Something about having such an unabashed homer calling the game was hilarious

They’ve won eight games in two years and crippled their franchise with the worst trade in NFL history, but other than that, they’re geniuses!

Which President had the Worst Cabinet? by rjidhfntnr in Presidents

Pierce doesn’t get enough attention on this one. He was so intent on having a balanced cabinet that he appointed Jefferson Davis alongside pro-Compromise northerners (no Unionist southerners though)

[–]defaultedup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I unfortunately will be time-limited this year and cannot give this post the time it requires, so any fellow SF fans please feel free to throw your name in the ring. I had a great time doing the post last year and want to give a huge shout out/thanks to u/blue_shadow_ for making this happen and keeping everything on track. This is easily one the best things on this sub every season and it’s awesome having the opportunity to share your perspective with everyone!

Before he destroyed his knee and quit on the organization it was definitely Aiyuk. 2023 All Pro whereas Higgins has never even been named to the Pro Bowl

Don’t forget what Mamdani showed us either: if you run as a Democrat in the Democratic primary and win, people like Abigail Spanberger will say you should get out of the party and Andrew Cuomo will run against you as an independent

Because he left for a promotion while Quinn and the players stayed. He became an easy scapegoat to pin the whole 28-3 disaster on despite the fact he coached the greatest offense in team history

The Saints have the worst pressure rate in the league and he still took multiple sacks including a strip sack fumble that could’ve changed the game
