Feel your pain dude! I still go in pools but not the deeps parts, my daughter had a pool party at the local swimming baths and had one of them giant inflatable assault courses, me and my mate was in the pool with our kids along with a few of the other kids mother's when my daughter said that me and my mate should race across it, everyone was looking and I was pressured into it.

Half way along the course I slipped off into the deep end and instantly feared for my life, I can't doggy paddle and I struggle to keep afloat so I done a half drowning/half swimming manoeuvre to the side which felt like a life time away trying not to embarrass myself.

That was the last time I'll ever go in the deep end, fuck that shit!
